As his Akon-assisted single Dangerous continues to dominate the charts (both in the States and his native Canada), rapper Kardinal Offishall has sent the Booth a new selection off his upcoming album, Not 4 Sale.  On Set It Off, the Toronto MC utilizes the same rhyme scheme that his north-of-the-border fans have enjoyed for the past eleven years and enlists fellow T-Dot resident, Boi-1da, for the beat.  The difference between the past and the present, however, is Virginia duo, The Clipse, who come aboard for two guest verses. Not 4 Sale will be released via KonLive/Geffen on August 5, the same day the Clipse release their Re-Up Gang compilation album via Koch.

Note:  The streaming of “Set It Off” has temporarily been suspended.

Boi-1da been smashing the production game ever since Drake's "The City is Mine". Kardinal has a fresh flow. He's recently been on my radar as well. Y'all need to peep him and Drake on "The Last Hope ft. Andreena Mill". That's my favorite track from Kardinal to date. The production on this is nuts. Kardinal and The Clipse held it down decently on this. I throw it in rotation.

T-Dot Stand up, We Daaa BESTTT!! Haha, nahh no DJ Khaled on this track strictly the Clipse and Kardinal doing their thing. Its got a tight beat and the Clipse brings their own thing to the track for sure. Its not Dangerous but dont get me wrong it should be hot for the summer...

Wow this will go hard in the clubs I think...it's pure energy, I have no patience to download it and dance to it in my room lol! It's all about the beat, I don't listen very much to them rapping...the music is banging!

KO is comin hard this album! Very impressed to see the work that he's put out so far. No one was really expecting him to come back this hot. Clipse tear this song apart, they are definetly making a comback! This is a 4, and I'm tempted to bring it to a 5 but I won't.

To me the beat sounded exactly like a Missy Elliott beat...that's not a bad thing though. Kardinal's flow is on point and Clipse always brings fire...very underrated in the game.
