Already the king of Canadian hip-hop, Kardinal Offishall finally made a successful crossover to a worldwide audience with his summer anthem, Dangerous; currently #7 on the Billboard Hot 100, the song has solidified the forthcoming release of his long-awaited fourth studio album (and Kon Live/Geffen debut), Not 4 Sale. So, what does that all mean? It means that it’s remix time. Holdovers from the original version include Akon‘s hook and The Vanguards’ beat, but Kardi offers up entirely new verses and a guest appearance from friend and dancehall hit-maker, Sean Paul. Not 4 Sale, will be available in stores and online on September 9.
Not too much to say here. Not as hot as the original but a cool remix to give it a few more spins before it gets COMPLETELY old. Sean Paul fits this beat nicely, I can definetely see an Akon produced single for Sean Paul here real soon. Good remix, period.
Yea The original is better. I wish the beat was alterd alil. I don't think its a true remix inless the beat is changed alil. This is the same song with new verses.
This is a decent joint . I never really liked or hated the single. This remix is a'ight though. It's not really something I would listen to on the regular, but that hook is addictive rather it's the remix or the original. Sean Paul's verse was catchy (though I didn't hear a word he said)...lol. Oh, and I know Kardinal maybe is the King of Canadian Hip hop chart wise, but give it some time...my boy Drake from the T-DOT! is finna take the game by storm! D-R-A-K-E, that's he, you know how the story goes!
After hearing the original overplayed everywhere, this is rather refreshing for me. Although Sean Paul may have fallen out of the light for a lot of people, I still like what he does to tracks. And he made a good addition, his style worked for the feel of this track.
However a great song this is, I think that it needs a little more than a new singer and different words. Sean Pauls voice fits in well here, but it just sounds too much like the original.
Kardi really knocked it out of the park with this single. The remix is a little icing on the cake, but he already did his damage on the original. Nice to hear from Sean Paul, though. Where you been, fam???
this song iz soooo overplatd on da radio so itz real-e annoying me. i dont care if dis iz da remix or not im sick of it!!! i used to luv it but not i dont
The original was better but I'm definitely feeling this song. WOW:) still hating, like always lol. Her typing also makes me laugh but that's another story. I haven't heard from Sean Paul in a while. Feels good, hearing different voices then always the same people.
A hot remix to a hot single.. The ladies will love it for sure. And it'll be nice to hit em' with the remix @ phase54 (Club I DJ at)... Each weekend there have been more and more requests for this joint since last month, so like I said it'll be nice! but as of now, weezee got the clubs on lock for sure (In AZ anyway). Also glad to see sean paul back on the scene too.. ZillaFied bangah! Bumbah clot!
I liked the original very much, in fact I have it in a cd mix I made some months ago...but I find this edit quite useless! I'm not a fan of Sean Paul (his voice and way of singing annoyes me) so he adds nothing to the song in my opinion
i was wondering if anyone knew a song that was a remix kinda techo ish song that had the owords like do you got money yeah thats whats up..then it said like suga free
This is a awsome song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
