For those who were old enough to watch MTV in ’91, you might remember a female by the name of Rita. Known all across the country as being “dangerous on the dance floor,” Rita was the seductive fictional character created by former duo, Musto & Bones. Though Rita has been in hiding for the last 17 years (probably right behind Tommy Musto and DJ Frankie Bones), another lady has appeared on the dance floor and she’s just as Dangerous. Spotting this unsafe female on a new song are Canadian MC, Kardinal Offishal, and the man who inked him to a record deal, Akon. While Kon’s new album, Acquitted, is set to drop in May, Offishall’s Konvict debut, Not 4 Sale, has no current release date.
Kardi's has a crazy flow, too bad we don't hear from him as much as the other artists. He was on the song "Last Hope" by Drake & Adreena (I think that was her name), and he DESTROYED that track. I heard the first single for Acquitted is supposed to feature Michael Jackson.
damn right! Kardi is a beast, this isn't his best stuff, you listent to the stuff he has done with Busta Rymes!
this is softer for him, wait till he brings in the Jamaican slang in more and more, dude has more flow then flow rida!
I could actually do with a little less Akon on this track (never was a BIG fan of his), but it's still FIRE nonetheless. Been lovin' Kardinal since "Bakardi Slang" days...
Konvict Muzik!!!! That's all I can Say! Akon is on a MADMAN streak right now. This Chorus is hot with Akon rippin it! This beat is really good. I am happy to hear a different flow from the norm on this track. Kardinal does his thing witht he flow on this track! Major Props for this one!
How is Akon doin it!!, he's most definitely the biggest producer in the business right now, and thats not including when he himself sings a song, im waiting for his new album to drop.. wait until about april and he will start making hits out the @ss for his album i know it!!, he's my favorite artist right now with Lil Wayne farrrrr behind in my book, but Blaze your right this chorus is on fireee!!!
Yess !!!! Yesterday upset me a lil i thought we wasnt goign to get any hits for a while but here it iss catchy chorus by akon dudes flow is crazy and the beat is ready for radio this is going in roatation
shit, dude, i think this should have been placed on mail on sunday as flo rida ft akon. this guys flow is just like flo rida´s. He dumps in and rises just like flo rida. don´t get me wrong, its a hot track and with good production from akon but the flow is so similar to flo´s own....and for the sake of music, can akon just organize his beats on one of his konvict artist´s album and he´ll make great sales as well as production and other sought of credits, instead of scattering these good beats on different artist whose albums are not going to make great sales coz for sure their other tracks won´t be so hot.
wow...this is the shyt right here...not only did akon deliver but im feelin Kardinal Offishall...i thought that it was gonna all be akon but i was wrong...this is a crazy song and prob the best of the mix toda...actually it is the best..akon is up there with lil wayne man...but lil wayne is a bit better...i dont want heat from that comment...its how i feel..his that good...obviously he aint better but close
Being from the T. where Kardinal iz from, we got a good bit of him on the radio. this is by far one of my favorite kardinal Trax ive heard in a while. 4*
this site is getting full =)
anyway, the beat came on and im like ok i'm feelin' it, and then akon whose voice annoys me now, came on it brought it down.
this song would be a banger, if akon wasn't on the hook.
This might be left field but dont it sound like the Danity Kane melody on they song Damaged a little, lol......just talking about the hook..either way this is aight
What a great song by both of them....Akon is sick as always and Kardinal kills it with his unique sound...Represent Canada !!! hehe Makes me wanna listen to MoneyJane everytime i hear Offishal !!!
Not really a standout track to me, but Akon's always had great hooks. The song is definitely capable of bein successful. Kardinal Offishall has a decent flow from what I can hear on this song. I give it a 3.5
