Much of Kanye West‘s recently-Platinum-certified 808s & Heartbreak revolves around a “relationship from hell” scenario (as we’ve heard on Love Lockdown and Heartless). On the final chapter of that story-within-a-story, Kanye’s finally mustered up the courage to move forward and leave her behind, telling her, “See You In My Nightmares.” Lil Wayne jumps on board the new single to drive the message home in his own unique style (”You think your ish don’t stink but you are Mrs. P-U”), spitting over Kanye and No I.D.‘s epic synth-string production. If you enjoyed the new sound West pioneered with 808s & Heartbreak, you’ll want to stay tuned for the April 7th release of Rebirth, which will showcase Weezy’s take on Auto-Tune-rock.

I love this song and its been growing on me! I love the whole production and the synth wit the 808's the beat is kicking! Great message from rising from the bottom Kanye is dope wit the autotune and I love Weezy's verse as well! At first I wasnt diggin it but this is my stuff now! Classic! Blazin!

Is this the official single? Kanye said he was gonna put out Robocop or Paranoid....shows how much influence the record label has?
Anyway, this song was hot no doubt, along with the whole album. This wasn't near my favorite track but it was definitely one of the most popular because of the Wayne feature. I will give this one 3 stars for great lyrics and production. |

YES! I'm glad this will be the new single! I think this will fair well with all types of people, because they should be able to relate. It really has a hip hop swagger to it, even though it's like a yelling/singing vibe. I can see an epic video sort of like "Can't Tell Me Nothin" for this one. AWESOME JOINT!

This was a smart choice to be the new single. I mean, a Wayne appearance-come on... It's not just that, though, Wayne is good on here too. And its refreshing when he finally raps and we get a break from the auto-tune.
I didn't like it when it first came out, but i've grown to love it over the past couple months. |

When I heard this song a while back I thought it wasnt as amazing as I expected Yeezy and Weezy to do. But its still not bad at all. I would have prefered Kanye to release "Streetlight" or "Paranoid" as his third single tho....

Great song, from a great album. It's hard to go wrong, but with two superstars this has significant hit potential. Can't provide any positive critique that hasn't already been mentioned, though.
I second the calls for a different single selection, though. I even heard a rumor Rihanna was gonna do the hook in "Paranoid"... I would like to see that pan out, and see how it would do on the radio. |

This is like one of my favorite songs on the 808's...I said in my previous album review of the Kanye album that it would be out of my mp3 player by now, but I was totally WRONG! Kanye has the it factor right now and his music has a sick 80's type of phil collins vibe to it and I am a straight up 80's baby, and all I do is watch 80's movies, so the more I listened to it with an open mind, the more I liked it...
Anyway, after that rant, the track has a SICK beat...Wayne KILLED it, and Kanye KILLED it! PERIOD!

This whole album is a classic in my mind, and will be remembered as a game changer for years to come. This song always makes me feel better about relationship troubles and such, and NO I.D.'s production is just amazing...and yeah Z I read it.

Just like how the Beetles did crazy psychodelic stuff that was amazing that no one wants to talk about.
