The third single off Kanye West‘ upcoming third album, Graduation, has arrived and man, is it good! Produced by Ye’ himself, along with help from DJ Toomp and Late Registration collaborator, Jon Brion, The Good Life is everything you’d expect from a song with such a title. Using a sample from Michael Jackson’s hit, Pretty Young Thing, the song has a feel good vibe that will translate into spins at clubs, weddings, strip clubs, bar mitzvahs, and house parties for the next decade. All that, and no mention yet to be made about the feature artist, T-Pain? Kanye West doesn’t need Teddy to make this song a hit, but heck, everyone else is using him, so why not? It’s the good life, baby!
if u dont like this u dont like hip hop, absolute sickness, its jus gonna be a matter of time before this ish gets to number 1 on all charts and gets radio play and respect…
I have to agree this album will be one of a kind...all four joints that came out was all fire..and this one does the same. 50 cant even see Kanye forreal
50 take note of the relaese date thats a sign!!: this album will tap into a wider audiance, i wonder if George Bush will buy a copy!!, kanye has what 6 grammys soundz like he just put another nail in 50 coffin
Kanye is going to do some damage with this album. All of his singles have met the industry standard. Keep it up. A relaxing beat. T-pain is becoming a permanent-hook-fixture.
ỡ ỡ ỡ vinyls
(Rating system is out of five vinyls: 1-get your needles ready; 2-get your wheels spinning; 3-get another copy for scratching; 4-needs to be part of your rotation; 5-a “club dynamite” forever; if you ever see no vinyls that means the song wasn’t meant to be made—a waste of plastic.)
HAHAHA!! Whats Kanye saying by using “if they hate then lettem hate and watch the money pile up”, one of 50’s lines. 50’s gonna have to buy a few million copies himself so he won’t be outsold. LOL
XuUP17’s u sick for that one.Funny mehn.
Yeah,common mayne,the songs’ good,real good.
And em u guys argue about Curtis VS Graduation ............du-uh.........does anybody buy c.d’s these days.I’ma download the two albums already.
whoever says this song isnt hot obviously doesn’t know what they’re talkin about. so refreshing to hear a different approach on shinin’. almost has an oldschool, like montell jordan hahah, feel to it.
man this here is FIYA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kanye is actually creative. he makes music 50 is not creative at all. but 50 is the publicity stunt King so he will pull it off some kind of way
0H AND B0UT THA BATTL3 WiiT 50 AND KANY3....MAN ii DN`T 3V3N KN0...FiiRST ii WAZ G0iiN F0R 50 BUT KANY3 G0T SUM THANGZ WiiT HiiM DAT`LL MAK3 U THiiNK 2WiiC3..
KAYNE WEST NEED TO BIG UP MICHAEL JACKSON and QUICNCY J FOR THIS JOINT, IT STILL WORKS THOUGH! IS T-PAIN trying to be the new Roger Troutman. BIG UP TO 50 CENT STILL (NO ONE REALLY LOST - SALES IS SALES - SKILLS IS SKILLS)SOMETIMES I JUST NEED TO HEAR SOME RAW STREET TALES - THANKS 50
I don't care what no one say, this song is damn good, and 30 cents ain't got nothing on it. Kanye sold out more than him the first day he came out cause people like him better than Mr. Got Shot Nine Times, And Is Still Livin. So get used to you haters, Kanye is better at rhyming and will always have somethin new to bring to the table!
Almost every song on Graduation grows on you after a while (except those which are an instant hit, catchier)… I didn’t like this at first, but then… damn, welcome to the good life. Guess you gotta be in a good mood to fully appreciate it. I love how the production sampled PYT by Michael Jackson, the overall good mood feel of the tune, Kanye’s lines, even T-Pain feature (who I don’t give more credit than the voicebox itself).
