As soon as you rip open the packaging on Kanye West’ Graduation and take a complete listen, there are several tracks on the album that will musically jump your way. For this reason alone it is no surprise that Flashing Lights, featuring singer Dwele, has been selected as the fourth single on the now platinum-plus certified album. The song opens to an assembly of wavering violin strings that slowly fade into a Timbaland-eqsue club beat mastered by producers West and Eric Hudson. (This is what West meant when he created Crack Music.) Be forewarned, as singer Connie Mitchell repeats the phrase ‘flashing lights’ during the song’s intro and chorus, it is not wise to operate a motor vehicle; you might end up blowing through a red while vibin’ out.

FAVORITE TRACK ON THE ALBUM. Production is crazy, gives me goosebumps when the bass thumps. Love the soulful hook by Dwele and Yeezy's smooth flow is top-notch. Unfortunately, there isn't enough memorable meaning to make it a 5/5 classic.

Im so happy that this is gonna be a single. This song along with the other singles gives you a good idea of what the album is all about. Flashing Lights is one of my favorite songs off the album so i think its a great choice. The vibe is just sick!

Obvioulsy folks are gonna jump all over me on this one, but I can't fully endorse this song. The production's definitley extraodinary, but the lyrics bother the hell out of me. How can he compare the pressure of having paparazzi following him with Hurricane Katrina victims ("feelin like Katrina with no FEMA")? Past albums had songs about himself and the state of the world/hip-hop, now it seems like the only thing he really cares about is himself.
