From Will Smith to Sublime, over the years a number of artists have felt inspired to put their love of the Summertime to music. You can now add Kali Raps to that long list. Fresh off the release of Goodbye, Kali recruits producer Ruwanga Samath to provide Summertime‘s video with a cooled out instrumental laced with synth touches set off by a crucaially catchy hook from C-Scharp that has all the melodic makings of a summer anthem. A trio of emcees fill in the gaps with appropriately party-friendly rhymes, starting with the headliner, followed by Show Off kingpin Termanology and anchored by (relative) newcomer Moufy. So head to the pool, grab a few bottles, grab ever more girls and enjoy the new soundtrack to Summertime. Fans can find this track on Kali’s upcoming Hats Off mixtape, which is still awaiting a release date.
