When Fat Joe‘s protégé group, K.A.R., was introduced to the Booth 11 months ago, many of our readers questioned their ability to break into the mainstream. Fast forward to ‘09, and the group is ready to go national with their new official single. On Oh Baby, Onez and Rob Cash (together with Joey Crack) spit sharp game to a lovely lady, hoping to take her home for the night – and get her out the door the next morning. While the topic has undeniable appeal, LV and Sean C (of the Hitmen but teaming up as Grind Music, Inc.)‘s electric guitar beat is what makes Oh Baby the group’s best chance at radio rotation and a solid release date for their self-titled debut album, to be released on E1 Music (the label formerly known as Koch).

Hard street and club production, and the chorus has mad energy. This is a sleeper right here. I gotta give it up for Joey Crack on here, I'm glad to see he can still spit a good verse once in a while. Rob Cash ripped it too. I will definitely be throwin this one on this weekend!

This had some interesting production, though it was kinda not my forte. The hook was pretty wack though. Joey Crack did okay on this one. Rob was decent. The mix on here seems awkward though. This is not something I would play again.

Fat Joe sounds better on this one then on his new ONE single with Akon, haha. L.V. & Sean C killed this beat... would love to hear Hova on it.
@justo, I believe it has to do with branding/image. @MH, I agree with the questionable mixing. |

I agree wit Z... I like Joe on here way better than on his own song. While his voice sounds good over this production I don't know if I like it all that much. I didn't like the dude on the second verse too much, but the third verse was a lot better. The hook was Ok.

The production was iight but the guitar does not fit in this song. Fat Joe was better than usual and the other guys were just iight. Not really digging this track
