Hip-hop loves a rags-to-riches story, so it’s no surprise that Slumdog Millionaire‘s become a rap touchstone, scoring countless name-drops and even inspiring a cut by the one and only Snoop Dogg. The latest artist to hit the Booth with a track referencing the Oscar-winning film is none other than reader favorite K. Sparks, whose latest feature (the sixth leak off his forthcoming, Booth-cosponsored mixtape) finds the Queens emcee and two frequent co-stars counting their Slum Dog Millions over Middle Eastern-informed synth boardwork by Double Up beatsmith Kurser. Hookman Julius Francis and guest emcee Dave Barz turn in performances worthy of a Best Supporting Actor nod, but it’s the headliner’s bars, packed with inventive, aggressively-delivered boasts, that will attract the lion’s share of Booth attention – especially since Sparks shouts out our own DJ Z in verse three (I was listening for someone to use the word “rich” so I could willfully misinterpret it as a reference to yours truly, but no dice). Super Senior is set to drop late this month. In the meantime, keep it locked to our front page for all the latest leaks!

Aside from the fact that Mr. Sparks clearly states in the third verse of the song that I am his "second favorite white boy" to Mr. Barz, the track is insanely dope. From the production to the aggressive rhyme style. Overall, the best leak yet from Super Senior!

This song was absolute fire. Normally I wouldn't like a beat that was this complex with the way it sounded if that makes since, but this was the exception.

I remember hearing k sparks a few years ago and thinking to myself this guy is talented. Years later he's still cranking out music at the same pace. What separates k sparks from other artist is his great song writing ability and his drive.

Not my favorite K.Sparks joint by any means, thanks to incorporating the cliched Middle Eastern sound, well, in the form of synths this time but its a BANGER!!! nonetheless.

The beat bangs. He overuses his lyrics far too much. Julius Francis and The production was the highlight.

Track's ill. Per usual. Now onto more important things, like me.

At this point I'm losing my "get more name drops in a freestyle than DJ Z" campaign by an embarrassingly large margin. And now he picks up another huge one!? Goddamnit.

This is seriously the BEST K.Sparks track I have heard here at the Booth!! ("Let Me Fly" and "Bright Lights are now slightly below this.
I mean the beat, the lyricism, and the hook are all extremely good!!

First time hearing this cat's music. Nice flow, crazy track behind his lyrics. Can't put him in the mix tho... a little too raw. Would feel it more on a cleaner version. Nice work tho!
