If you’re a rapper who talks about money, drugs, violence and sex, congratulations, radio will play your music all day. But, with only one notable exception, radio treats any emcee who even mentions religion in a song like they’ve got the swine flu. It’s a good thing Booth favorite K. Sparks and his production partner Pajozo don’t give a f**k. Fresh off the release of their first leak Ride Wit Me, the NY-based duo are back and aiming to inspire with their new cut God’s Love. Over an appropriately soulful beat from Pajozo featuring muted percussion and echoing guitars, Sparks breaks down the peaks and valleys of life with his trademark mixture of large caliber delivery and lyricism: “I’m far from a saint, but guaranteed I’m everything that you ain’t.” Will you hear God’s Love on the radio? No. Will it be highly rated on the Booth? I have to imagine so. God’s Love is the second leak off the upcoming Sparks and Pajozo project Soul Food, currently scheduled to drop on Thanksgiving.

I've really started to like K. Sparks lately. I used to write that his lyrics were rhyme driven without meaning, but this is just the opposite. Great work. Lecrae is nice, but K. Sparks does it better, hah! Just kidding, no beef in this genre.

K Sparks isn't afraid to rhyme about what's on his mind, regardless of how "popular" it may be, and that trait may just be my favorite part of his flow. Though let's not sleep on the production on this one, it's the perfect sonic backdrop for the message.

I can't find one thing wrong with this one, even the hook is real cool and catchy. The guitar in the production made me honestly close my eyes and just nod my head. Sparks speaks from the heart and his lyrics are on point as usual.

production is TIGHT!!! classic feel BUT lyrics were lacking...kind of basic. The concept drives the song. dont know what XuUP17 heard before but i see why you would have wrote those types of reviews. i listened 3 times to make sure i didnt miss anything...and i didnt. Nice song, nice passionate delivery, nice BRAVE concept but it just didnt have the nice lines lyrically that i liosten learn then look forward to singing along with when i play it again. The production carries it.
