Booth favorite K. Sparks has never been shy about asserting his on-the-mic supremacy, but he’s also more willing than most to speak on the self-doubt that comes with chasing a big dream. On this unreleased track, the Queens native gives us both sides of the story, explaining his complex, sometimes conflicted Feelings on the artistic grind. Backed by producer Marvel‘s mellow, piano-led sample, Sparks delivers characteristically nuanced verses, expressing his frustration but leaving no doubt about his will to succeed: “I’m feelin’ less determined, feelin’ more discouraged, but even in that word alone you find the word ‘courage.’” This reflective cut isn’t set for inclusion on any forthcoming project, but fans can hear more on Sparks and Pajozo‘s new Soul Food mixtape, available now for purchase on iTunes. I see a K. Sparks track on the Booth and I give it an automatic 4 stars because hes earned it. Dude is consistant like Pizza Nite Mondays at my house. Its garenteed you gonna get ya fillings and then some when you get K. Sparks preachin' in ya ear.

Damn - as always people love this K. Sparks track, just like they love K. Sparks in general. I almost feel like giving him some criticism just to keep his ego down, but I just can't.
Sparks was nominated for 5 Best of the Booth Awards, will he win any? Results coming tomorrow.

so???? who was the top purest hiphop artist of 2009 lil wayne,drake,jay-Z, Eminem,T.I well for me it would have too be this guy.K sparks records have been of the charts "rap saviors" too "genisus" to "spittaz 3" to this. absolute classics mad props to my pick for hip-hop artist of 09

Right when the beat started i knew this was gonna be a classic....and now it's official it's a classic!!
The beat is ridiculous!! The piano sample is just plain bad a**!! I don't think i've ever rated a k.Sparks track a classic so here it goes.... |

Quite nice. I always like to hear piano incorporated into a song and this is no exception. Definitely one of my favorite K. Sparks to date; although he does seem to always put out quality songs. However, in regards to the line:
"I’m feelin’ less determined, feelin’ more discouraged, but even in that word alone you find the word ‘courage." Come on… I feel as though that is somewhat obvious and just a poor line… Yes, clearly the word courage is found in discourage, thank you for that K. Sparks, thank you. But I feel as though “I’ll shut your ass down, like ctrl alt del.” makes up for it. All in all solid song; however regardless of how courageous that line was meant to be, it alone was enough to discourage a rating of 5 (hope that didn’t go over your heads…). *The word able is in the word disable… Just saying. |

damn. spark's really steps up on this track. i dont rate many tracks unless they're in need of being heard. and this track def. needs to be heard. people on here always talk big on k. sparks. i finally see something big here. "stay at em like eave". haha. his word plays so good his verbs should be in the nfl. if he keeps it up like this, five years from now he'll be one of the new generations voices of hip-hop right along with wale and wiz. love rap. peace
