Inspired by Crooked I’s “Hip Hop Weekly” and Mickey Factz‘s “The Leak,” DJBooth favorite K. Sparks has begun “Manic Mondays.” Rest assured that these “Manic Mondays” have nothing to do with the popular ‘80s all-female band The Bangles; in an effort to provide the hip-hop listening public with brand new tunes, every Monday for the next 52 weeks the self-proclaimed “future problem” will unleash an online exclusive. The series, which kicked off yesterday (we know- but it was a holiday yo), debuted with the conceptually creative Dictionary. Listen carefully to this Glish Productions-produced record, because the Jamaica, New York native starts every bar with a brand new letter from A through Z.

Hot, period. I really like almost everything K Sparks drops, this song is sick. Production is nuts, and the wordplay mixes well with the crazy flow. Real hip hop right here people. Banger.

this song is tight. the beat is cool and the flow is pimp. the high pitch thing gets a little annoying though. its to loud and covers up the words a little

I did like Papoose's style version of this way better, but K. Sparks isn't mad. This mix is bad though...but I guess since it's a weekly release, it's not a big deal. This is OK. I wouldn't listen to it again though. I liked K.Sparks' style way better on "All That Jazz". That was a 4-star track. This on the other hand isn't.

Damn!! The beat just cant be described..its off the chain!! The beat is better than Alphabetical Slaughter by Papoose but his lyrics just cant keep up wit Pap. Im likin how he had the same idea as Pap. I almost give this a 5 but not quite. Its still a banger though!!

This production is on FIREE, i love every sound in this song, and this dude kills it to, first time i've ever heard of him, i'll do some history when i get home, this song has KILLER bass to, i can't even believe how much this dude KILLS this song, D*MN!!! mad skills, ohhhhh shi! 52 week song rampage! haha i'm loookin forward to hear him.

Gotta agree with you Z, an artist can attempt to recreate a style to improve on it and not copy it. But Pap was better! lol. Gotta give respect to K. Sparks, his delivery was fire, but maybe it was the production that was lacking. In rotation.

As always great work from Sparks. I like his ability to rhyme on any kind of beat, and he never comes the same way, there is always a different angle that he approaches music. Good stuff
