K. Sparks returns for another “Manic Monday” with a smoothed-out jazzmatazz track entitled Definition. The South Jamaica, Queens lyricist showcases his profound insights over producer Pajozo’s carefully-crafted concoction. With a Tupac sample eerily warning listeners about the dangers of T.H.U.G. Life, Sparks paints his own vivid picture of life on the streets. As the Internet continues to infiltrate every aspect of our daily lives, Definition serves as an appropriate message. Establishing his voice amongst many, K. Sparks ignites minds and hearts with some much-needed energy. Heads should be aware of this DJ Booth favorite’s Future Problem 3 mixtape, coming soon, as well as each week’s new Manic Monday delivery.
So I didn't realize that K. Sparks would be back with a new song every Monday. This is what's up. This is when I dig K. the most. The Pajozo production with the jazzy and melodic piano samples are great listening. The interpolation of the 2pac interview about street mentality is very introspective. This is definitely a classic.
Naw I expected better from a song rated 5 stars! I like the beat and his flow but I hate jazz music, so I can't appreciate the background music. I don't say it doesn't fit the beat, it's just that I've never been into jazz music! I'm not crazy for the hook, either. It's in rotation, a good song for who likes jazz
Hey, Z wasn't someone else suppose to have a new track every week also besides Sparks? I can't remember, the Tupac interview being on the song is production at it's finest, and the piano is amazing, BANGERR!
