Though DMV repper K-Beta‘s Inglorious Beta mixtape dropped more than a year ago, I’m willing to bet there are some of you out there who put off listening, telling yourself, “I’ll get around to it tomorrow.” Well, as Bernie Mac told fourth-grade Kanye, “Ain’t nothing promised to you.” – not even another day on this earth – and there will never be a better time than right now. Looking to win more listeners to his cause in anticipation of the set’s deluxe edition, and perhaps even steer a few of us from the path of iniquity, Beta’s back with the newly-leaked Soul Cry, a leaked cut which delves deeply into the artist’s spiritual beliefs. Over the reggae-sampled production of Grussle, the freestyle series alum urges all listening to reject temptation and place their faith in a higher (“uh!”) power (“uh!”). Singer B. Sheba heightens the the Caribbean vibe, contributing her smooth, lightly-accented vocals to the hook. Those who take this joint’s message to heart may want to click here and stream/download the original version of Inglorious Beta this very instant; either way, though, don’t miss the expanded re-release when it hits stores April 26!

Beat is dope. I like the reggae style influence, plus the chorus is very soulful. His flow could have been better to me, but I liked the song

Its great to see artists, who put long hours, money and energy into a project, try to get every last drop of success out of their material. It also helps when the music is good and can exist in this insane here today and gone tomorrow world we live in. Say hello, in this case, to K-Beta.

tight relaxed beat, and K-Beta kills it with his sick flow on this one.

Solid flow & production, K-Beta continues to release quality music. This is my 1st time hearing of B. Sheba but she did the track justice.

Wow, big fan of 'Inglorious Beta', this brings back memories of songs such as 'Closer'. To me, this is the hip-hop that fits nearly all types of moods, classic in my books, keep up the good work Beta!

It's good to see the DMV getting alot of love today. K-Beta is really impressive on this track. I'm feelin' his flow; he really commands the mic. Additionally, he really works off the beat well. B. Sheba's smooth vocals are a great compliment to Beta's harder style.
