Since dropping off the Daft Punk-assisted Something About You back in August 2010, up-and-coming emcee Justt has undergone a dramatic change of scenery, moving from his native NYC to the City of Angels. Perhaps that famous Cali kush can help explain I Need Your Love, a hazy selection which finds The IndiGos cooking up a dreamy, sampled beat as Justt drops free-associated bars covering everything from his loyalty to the old-school to his impressive reading list (including the works of Plato and Aristotle). The IndiGos Vol 1., Justt’s full-length collaboration with the beat crew, is tentatively scheduled for release in mid-May.
