computer monitors, what you’re seeing is not a hoax. Yes, teen ultra-hearththrob Justin Bieber had indeed recruited the likes of 2 Chainz, Mac Miller and Asher Roth for a remix to his hit single, Boyfriend. The original’s production by Mike Posner and Mason “MdL” Levy, a snapping and booming bass beat made to herald Bieber’s move into adulthood, remains essentially unchanged, giving 2 Chainz a pretty familiar backdrop to drop more of his swag-drenched rhymes. Next up is Miller, who usually shies away from money talk but here doesn’t hesitate to promise his lady trips on private yachts, while Asher closes out the festivities with a typically off-kilter verse. That Bieber is working with rappers isn’t a surprise, but who saw this particular line-up coming? I’m sure DJBooth Nation will have plenty to say in the comments below, while those down to hear more hip-hop Bieberness can look forward to the likes of Drake, Nicki Minaj and Ludacris appearing on his upcoming album Believe, due out June 19.

2-Chainz is EVERYWHERE! Better get it while it's hot! I like the new grown-up Bieber. This track reminds me of something Justin Timberlake would do. I don't think all the features were necessary, but it's cool to see artists backing up the youngin.

Just made this account and the song wont load but my opinion before listening:
I feel like Justin is just trying to grow up and be like Usher he wants to be taken seriously and be a high profile star and all I can say is he doesn't seem to be an original and needs have a core audience that isn't teenage girls. As for the features, I feel like their careers will probably be hurt instead of helped in the long wrong for this collab. |

ok my opinion of Bieber at first I hated him - though annoyingly some of his earlier hits grasped me.
Then his image changed (kinda getting used to, like - but still hate his music), he got a haircut and tried to break a new style. The bit I don't like is the breaking into a new style his try at rap. Now, when I first heard him on one of Breezy's rap efforts for his mixtape. The protege as known by many, rapped and I couldn't stand and I still didn't like it on Boyfriend - hence, his outlay of this remix. He tries to hard and it doesn't fit him, so he should LET IT GO! Anyways enough of my ranting - this track is soz bad I couldn't bear the Bieber. NO RATING. |
