As if competing with each other wasn’t enough, now it looks like rappers are going to have to compete with Justin Bieber for some space in the hip-hop game. The teen heart throb is clearly making a push into rap territory with his new album, putting together a posse cut for the Boyfriend (Remix), grabbing Ludacris for All Around the World and now making the G.O.O.D. Music connection by bringing in Big Sean for As Long As You Love Me. Mega-producer Darkchild supplies the beat on Love Me, walking the line between hip-hop and pop with a twisting, bouncing beat that morphs into a clapping, synth driven affair on the hook. On the mix Bieber is, well, consummate Bieber, laying down the kind of sweetly crooner, “girl, I don’t need anything in the world but you” vocals that should melt the hearts of teenage girls worldwide. For his part Sean does well to interweave some real lyricism and flow while still fitting the track’s straight pop flavor. At this rate I think we can expect for their to be a Bieber collab with hologram Tupac and Biggie on his upcoming album Believe, due out next Tuesday, June 19.

This is a definite add to the R&B folder. JB's voice is maturing nicely and Big Sean did his thing... BANGER! (Yup, i'm a Justin Bieber fan and I'm not ashamed to say it...dude gots skills)

kudos to bieber, its so damn refreshing to see someone rise up and exceed expectations rather than fail to capitalize on his success. I agree w/ blaze I've been a bieber fan for a while and I'm not afraid to admit it because I don't care how you cut it or what you want to call it, the kids been musically gifted since the day he was born. I'm glad to see him making these collaborations, shit there is probably not a person in the industry that pulls in Bieber Money/Numbers and this is only going to make him more popular.

With this song and "All Around the World" Justin Bieber has done what I had thought was impossible - Got me to get TWO of his songs. Never thought I'd see the day where I got one. He's headed in the right direction. Maybe there's somethin there afterall.

It's sounds lie he has grown a lot as an artist, I'm still not blown away buy the song though and Big Sean's verse was pretty weak.

not a fan of like 99% of what JB puts out but this song just stood out for me I mean Darkchild did an amazing job on the production, JB's vocals and lyrics were engaging and on point. The chorus is catchy. Big Sean delivered a dope verse. I really love just everything about this song!!!

This is a solid collaboration effort between the two up-and-coming artists.
Bieber's album has a few cross-collaborations with notable artists (Drake, Nicki Minaj, etc) that are worthy of a listen. The kid is growing up to become a young JT/Mike Posner with a little more versatility. Let's keep em' coming. I second DJ Blaze, as I am a Bieber fan too. We are all going along for the ride. |

Honestly, I can't say I hate this. Its miles better than Boyfriend and other typical stuff he usually does plus Big Sean guest verse wasn't bad at all. I could see myself revisiting this song.
