I've been expecting a collaboration like this from these two, it did not fail to disappoint. XO's singing with Juicy J's under the influence raps make a trippy mix. That uncredited producer definitely needs credit for this banger. Had this on repeat since last night.

This beat sounded very Timbaland to me. If the Weeknd put out solo tracks like this, he would find himself a hit. Well this and Remember You sounded like solo tracks anyway really. Juicy J came correct on this as well. Way better than Show Out.

The Weeknd is amazing on this track! The beat and melody are spot on. Like Fillyb said, a perfect mix of rapping and crooning. Adding this to my playlist, gonna be rocking it through the summer. 5 stars+

I was scared when I saw this...because those are NOT two artists I'd expect to collabo. (Having bumped plenty of Three 6 in my day and sticking around for the Oscar win and even through "Lolli Lolli," Juiceman's Taylor Gang run had threatened to break the camel's back)
But overall, this was SOLID. Sounds like something that could've been on "Last 2 Walk"...would be a nice touch if DJ Paul does a verse for the remix. |
