Yesterday, we featured DJ Paul and Lord InfamousU Don’t Want It; set for inclusion on Paul’s forthcoming solo album, Scale-A-Ton (Skeleton), the record showcased the hardcore sound that made Three 6 Mafia legends.  Today, we present the first single off fellow 3-6 member Juicy J‘s solo LP, Hustle Till I Die. Riding smoothly along the Memphis streets with 30 Inches on the rims, Juicy and his big brother, Project Pat show just how dedicated they are to their cars.  The more recent fans will simply LOVE Juicy’s beat, which sees him once again mixing an old-school sample (The O’Jays’ Darlin’ Darlin’ Baby (Sweet Tender Love)) with a new-school bar (OJ da Juiceman‘s verse from Pat’s Keep It Hood), making 30 Inches a perfect cruising anthem.  For more of J’s trademark blend of past and present, pick up a copy of Hustle Till I Die when it drops June 2nd.

I'm really feelin the production on this one, and the sample on the hook is very nice. I don't know if Juicy's voice mixes well with either tho. His flow is kinda annoying and his lyrics are nothing interesting, but for some reason it works for me. For the production and the sample and can't give this track less that a 3...

I like this. It is a good song to cruise to. Tight production and I like the hook on here. Both Juicy J and Pat had solid appearances on here. I'll give it four stars. I'm wonderin who's album is gonna sell more.

Well, I am currently blazed, so this rating might be a tad biased seeing as how my head bops to everything.

I do like it though, it gives me a chilled out mood.

Today is minimal feedback day, people. Keep up the great feedback/comments!!!

Juicy J isn't the best rapper in the world, but I'll be damned if he doesn't get more credit for being a really quality producer. I love the old-school samples. Classy.

Z's right. The old-school sampling is AWESOME, plus take the lyrics for what they are...an ode to the car!

joshL, why the 1-star? Please elaborate! (thank you!)

Good. Cruz tune. I'll give it 4 stars. But I don't think it's something that'll hit the charts.

im not so sure wat it is, i guess the production is ok although i still cant really get wit the beat. Besides that, the song is too repetitive and i dont like the whole concept of the song either.

almost forgot, i like the idea of the sample, but not feelin it on the song

Juicy J as a Producer = Beastly. Juicy J as a rapper = tolerable. His own production makes his usage of toungetwisters/nursery rhymes(betty betty...etc) tolerable. His style+production carries his versus to make it a banger sir. Project Pat does his thing, kinda hard not to with a beat this nice though.

I like the beat and the music but the melody is boring. I think it's a radio song, if I found it I'd listen to it but it wouldn't go in my mp3 player, too slow I guess...in rotation

Mmmm....really not feelin this. Too old school for me. Still, for what it is, it's a great song. I can't deny that, so I'll go out on a limb here and call it banger.

this is a let down, was expecting some energized juicy j, but this jawn is kinda boring, the sample itself is dope but the sample flip is elementary at best, the only driving force behind this record is the usual Three 6 drum programming...besides that it goes in less than mediocre column
