As he made clear in his February interview with DJ Z, Phoenix emcee Juice is taking full advantage of his hometown’s Position of Power on the US sports scene.  Signed to Phoenix Sun Amar’e Stoudemire’s Hypocalypto Entertainment on the strength of his debut mixtape (which dropped just after the Arizona Cardinals went to Super Bowl XLIII and the U.S. Airways Center hosted the NBA All-Star Game), the rapper is currently preparing for the release of his first studio album, The Anticipated.  Though there are many who would seek to knock Juice off his major-league hustle, their scheming will always be in vain—try as they might, they just “Can’t Crush My Cool.”  Featuring a textbook “Southern rap tune” verse by Salute collaborator Bun B and a relaxed beat by Drumma Boy, this new single is already getting heavy rotation in the streets of Phoenix, and prospects are looking strong for a release in Atlanta.  The Anticipated is set to drop late this fall—which, coincidentally, is around the time the Diamondbacks might be looking for theme music for a potential playoff push.

Watch everyone and their mother start to use the expression, "you can't crush my cool" this summer. The triple C usage is mad catchy - wish I had thought of it first. Oh well, solid record.

Shouts to Primo.

The production was pretty solid, aside from the cliche siren. Juice didnt blow me away wit his flow or lyrics, and Bun B was himself. Not quite good enough for rotation: 2.5

@Z - That's probably gonna be my new catch phrase, haha.

Can't go wrong with a Drumma Boy production. Juice sounded pretty good and Bun had another solid verse (because he always does). Rotation.

With the hard verses Juice & Bun B spit this could of been better but the production set it back. Drumma Boy is usually dope but for some reason this production isnt that good. Its still a solid track!

I don't know why my first comment didn't show up, but I like this either way. It pickup momentum with that electric @uitar. Is it just me or did it seem like Juice aproached this son@ one way, heard Buns verse and steped his @ame up afterward for the 3 verse. Prob didn't happen that way, but that was the tone of the track.
