Rappers Lil’ Wayne and Juelz Santana have yearned for their respective labels to agree upon a deal, so that their I Can’t Feel My Face collaboration album could receive a release date. Finally, the good people at Diplomat Records and Cash Money Records did what was necessary to see that the project, three long years in the making, would be able to see daylight. The two sides came together and between them agreed that Universal Motown would distribute the album. As a precursor to its tentative fall release, the promo single The Bad Side has been leaked. While both MCs spit fire over the old-school beat, it’s disappointing to say the least that they don’t interact together on any one verse, instead opting to showcase their individual skills separately.
im lovin this joint! str8 out the gate is santana (who might i add has greatly stepped up to his game) wit nuthin but energy.
great beat too!
im a off top a wayne fan, not for him, but strictly for his lyrics cause he spittin nuthin but fire.
ive listened to a few other songs by wayne where hes mentioned r kelly (usually on a remix), almost as if hes dissin him or to a certain degree is expressing the fact that he doesnt like him.
am i the only one that has noticed that?
i am however a bit disappointed (as the summary states) that they didnt collab very well and each took their time to shine.
nevatheless, i still love the song as both wayne and juelz prove that they are a force to be reckoned with.
