Don’t call it a comeback, they’ve been here for years. The latest effort from Harlem hero Juelz Santana is a comeback track on two levels. For Juelz it’s an early attempt to regain the status he enjoyed at the height of his Whistle Song days, and for guest artist Chris Brown it’s a chance to prove that all that community service hasn’t dulled his star power. If you’re looking to blow up the radio it’s hard to do better than a beat from Polow da Don, and while Back to the Crib doesn’t feel like a smash hit to me, it should be more than enough to send the message that Juelz is back. Santana’s intricately titled Born to Lose, Built to Win (The Reagan Era) does not currently have a release date.

Was expecting more with a lineup like this, but I couldn't get with this one too much. I didn't sense any energy whatsoever with that production. Breezy snapped on the hook, but that was about it. Juelz was really predictable here and his lyrics were same old same old.

When is this album gonna drop??? He needs to get it out. I really liked this though. CB sounded great on the hook and Juelz kinda rode this beat. Polow came with some nice boardwork. 3.5 but I'll round up.

Not feeling it, the song has a real lackluster appeal. Polow's beat is annoying and overshadows the talent of Juelz and Chris. Juelz is alright though nothing really impressed me but he kept my intrest.
Chris came hard on the hook and is really the only thing I loved about the song. I glad to hear some music from him and not his personal life. |

Is it just me or has Juelz run out of ideas? Every song I hear from him lately he brings the same flow and rhymes. Chris saves this track from being lackluster with a great performance. I just wish Juelz put in some more effort.

i actually thought that Juelz did a better job than Chris on this song. He was a little annoying on this, but Juelz flow was good.

Just not feeling this. Chris Brown's voice is so over-produced you can barely tell it's him and we know for a fact that Juelz can do a lot better than this. The always impeccable Polow production may make this a hit yet, but it's not going in my personal rotation.

In rotation... Chris Brown came hard, Polow did his thing, the beat had to grow on me but its ill after the first few listens... Juelz has never been a lyrical monster, he'll drop a few nuggets, a few punchlines but he cant be considered lyrical... all in all... this song typifies radio success these days... good production (from a big name) + a hot (and singable) hook (from a big name) + marginal rapping = radio success ... juelz aint gotta be good to get spins on the radio... i dont agree with it but its the truth
