November is situated as a busy month for Dipset as Cam’ron, Jim Jones, and DukeDaGod are all set to release individual mixapes. Joining the three is JR Writer, who will release the fifth installment in his successful Writer’s Block mixtape series. On it is the single Where You At; your typical Dipset song with talk of money, artillery and street cred over a classically hardcore-sounding beat. While Cam, Jim and Duke’s offerings will go head-to-head with Jay-Z‘s American Gangster on November 6th, JR will easily settle for a more favorable match up versus Freeway‘s Free at Last on the 20th.
JR Writer still has room to improve to eventually reach the level of his fellow label mates. There is nothing that immediately stands out in this track, it's missing a feature verse from a Dipset member or a stronger hook.
Man, I been waiting for a writer's block new CD! Also look for Dipset SAS (Eurogang) the UK heads from dipset! Go do a youtube search and ye shall find. They would destroy 75% of all the hip hop artists in the states. Dipset doin the damn thing! The movement moves on. This track isn't the best JR writer tho...
