JR Writer decided to remix a song off his new Babygrande release, Writer’s Block 5. Since T-Pain was busy (just speculation and humor), it makes perfect sense that the services of the other most-in demand artist of the year, Lil’ Wayne, were requested. For the new version of We Gettin It Baby, the core melody from the old Nas’ single, I Can, is used to give the song an old school break beats feel. Unfortunately for JR the selection of the hottest rapper in the game wasn’t as calculated as the beat change-up choice. While both MCs are lyrically impressive, only one artist is truly ‘getting it baby’ and his last name ends in an ‘R,’ but starts with a ‘C.’
You hit it right on the head! JR writers part is pretty wack on this beat. He is better than that for sure! The chorus seems forced too.
Lil Wayne Straight rips this wack beat to shreds! Unbelievable! 5 Stars for lil wayne and 1 for JR writer makes this a 3-star track...too bad this wasn't an all-out Lil Wayne affair.
weezy got it. and yeah rappers gotta think before they decide to get lil wayne on there track. yeah hell give the song sum buzz but hell also more than likely take over the song.
damnnn lil wayne aight he aint all dat damn...he always talkin bout osama and saddam he need to join the military or sum'n and then he rap like a lil kid makin car noises and shit...he aint the best rapper alive thats fa sho boosie is...i give this song a 1 becuz it's true garbage...
This guy sounds outdated. Sounds like he tried to change up his style somewhere between underground and mainstream, and failed. Might have been ok back in the day, but he really needs to step his game up if he wants to get play time.
jus need to cut out everything but weezy. and the comment bout boosie. i been listenin to him before people knew who he was and he is sick but come on bruh. he not near as creative as wayne. thats crazy
