Out today, the latest mixtape from Killin Dem singer/songwiter Jovi Rockwell finds the Kingston-bred up-and-comer lying down on the couch for a musical Psycho Therapy session. What’s been bothering her? Well, on this standout track, she gives us the lowdown on one of her biggest stressors: an overly enthusiastic fan named Ben (Was anyone else expecting a reggae revamp of the young Michael Jackson‘s ode to his favorite rat? OK, maybe that was just me.). Over Lil Boy Fresh‘s infectious blend of guitar, handclap percussion and (on the hook) muted horns, the artist recounts how the simple decision to say “yes” to an online friend request turned her life into a nightmare, and pleads with her stalker, “I just can’t relax, and I need you to stop. I’m tired of the hassle and the headache that you’re givin’ off.” It’s one catchy tune, but we can only hope that Rockwell talked to the police before immortalizing Ben in song. If this Ben character is real, I think he just busted a nut.
Jovi's signature sound made this seemingly generic (Christina Milian & Stacey Orrico adapted) beat into a possible hit-record. |

An absolute STAND OUT record on a very enjoyable brand new mixtape (which I recommend you download!). Jovi's vocals take center stage and her story moves the track from start to finish - not the production.
Keep up the good work, darling. I am betting big on your career.

Big Jovi fan. Very unique sound. Don't like this one as much as Killin Dem, but I can't hate on this. I love a good reggae track.

I was loving her "Killin Dem" record. That was the first time I heard of her and I thought she was dope and sexy as well. This joint is smooth. It's something different and I think I would listen to it "over and over again.".

This Jovi Rockwell is really wicked I cant understand this Music Bizz This Girl is Doing some Real Music and I learnt that she writes all her stuff, and sometime without a track, This is A next big one! Keep doing you Jovi You Gonna Be BIG!!!!
