When I first saw the title of Jori King‘s latest feature, I instantly knew what the song was about: the singer wakes up next to a beautiful woman, slips out from under the covers and cooks her a delicious meal as thanks for a wonderful night. As it turns out, though, the artist was a step ahead of me. Suffice it to say, the Breakfast in Bed King enjoys on this fresh promo single (a Booth-exclusive world premiere!) ain’t eggs and bacon. Guy Furious keeps it light and airy on the production tip, layering bubblegum-pop synths over an airy percussion rhythm as the unsigned crooner pays tribute to the woman who starts his day off like none other: “Breakfast in the morning, I can’t go without it / My body just don’t feel the same.” Though a touch freakier than Jori’s previous features, this double entendre-laced burner exemplifies the infectiously breezy vibe his fans have come to know and love. Breakfast in Bed is currently unattached to any forthcoming project, but listeners craving a second helping should stay tuned to the best music site on the ‘net (cough, DJBooth, cough) for more from this promising pop hopeful.

 Super catchy ear candy, courtesy of Jori King. This is something that The-Dream or Jason Caesar would do. Its simple, has sing-a-long-ability, and replay-ability.

The chorus is pretty catchy, I like this direction for Jori. I agree, it's very The-Dream-ish, which is fine with me because The-Dream is my favorite artist. All in all, this is a solid track that will keep Jori on my radar.

I like the smooth production on this R&B joint. This is definitely made for radio and its one of those songs that I won't get annoyed with too quickly. Jori King has a pretty good voice.
