Jordy Towers, Jordy Towers, Jordy Towers… I think you might’ve had this one coming. Last heard plotting to charm a fickle female away from her steady man on Booth debut Steal Your Girlfriend, the up-and-coming crooner is dismayed to find the proverbial shoe on the other foot on his latest promo single. Over Louis Biancaniello, Sam Watters, J Bynum and Michael Biancanello‘s mournful yet appealingly upbeat pop production, the singer laments the fact that the woman he loves is drifting away from him, asking the powers that be, “How come all the Pretty girls turn into Monsters when I fall in love?” My lack of sympathy aside, the artist certainly does a good job of selling his romantic anguish, rendering his pain palpable in soulful yet strained verses. Complete with a sing-along chorus and unexpectedly swaggeriffic bridge, this heartbroken jam seems to have all the makings of a hit—or have I got it twisted? If you like what you’re hearing, stay tuned; while Pretty Monsters is currently unattached to Towers’ untitled/unscheduled Interscope debut, we’ll be sure to keep you supplied with all the latest news and tunes.

Uber catchy. Song really jumps off during the chorus. I could hear this on the radio this summer.
