Pop singer Jordin Sparks’s current single, One Step At A Time, made its way inside our Booth late last month. Currently, it finds itself fresh out of the remix oven, courtesy of Queen native and veteran producer, Kwame. Replacing slower, melodic production work from producers Cutfather, Jonas Jeberg and Robbie Nevil, Kwame infuses an industrial marching band sound, perfect for continued spins on the radio and (now) additional spins inside the club. Also latching on to the remixed version is 20-year-old emcee, Beyond Belief, who is currently creating his debut project under the guidance and tutelage of Kwame.
Good idea to mix it for the clubs, she has made 0 noise in there. It will be on average club rotation, dont expect to hear it on every given night. But a good mix, this girl can sing and this guest feature isnt too bad either.
MY BABY JORDIN! Beyond's working with Kwame huh? That's tight. This track is nice from my wife here, but I really don't feel a club mix of this is that good. I like the bridge and hook on it, but the verses don't sound right. I like the original version that pre-tarded people on here called "Disney" like. I'll put this in rotation cuz it's my wife, but I ain't really feeling it.
Jordin as very talented. This beat doesn't seem to match the vocal arangment to me. I 've never heared the og version, but i'm willing to bet it sounded nothing like this production wise and yet has this arrangement. Either way this is ok I guess. Not really my style.
this remix is FIRE. i was surprised how slow the beat to the original song was, and im def happier with the harder beat on the remix. the guest feature is hot too. all around good song.
WOW, I'm definitely feelin this record. Kwame brought some necessary heat to this song. I woulda liked to hear a little more from Beyond Belief tho. I was expecting another verse towards the end. Adding this to rotation.
I love Jordin's voice, one of the best in the pop/r&b scene lately! I like this remix, the beat is really good, but like BDF44 said it doesn't seem to match so much the voice arrangement...anyway I think this is one of the best remixes I've ever heard! It sounds a bit weird to me because I've heard the original, mid-tempo version, but if I heard this in a club I would gladly dance to it! :)
itz gud to hear sum-thin new from her cuz if she eva putz out a video on mtv, i neva c them cuz i only watch "Rap City" and "106 and park top 10 live" on BET...No Air iz still be-n played on my radio station and itz get-n hella OLD 4real. i can def feel DIS...itz nice.(she 1 of those girl sngerz which im start-n 2 like i guess)
