at least on radio.
i didnt like that song to begin with, so, this is a step up for meh. 2.5 stars.

I'm loving the new joint from my future wife. Expect a remix of this from me when I can get my hands on the instrumental. This definitely has the recipe to be a number one song and do well on the radio with the epic feel like Leona Lewis' "Bleeding Love" or something. The Runaways held it down on the production.

3 stars. I hope to hear more good singles from her on this new album. She's elevating the way.

Wow damn. I'm not gonna lie, this was amazing. The production was great and she sounded really good. Jordin has some serious talent and she's what 17?? 4 stars easy.

Great production here. I would have preferred to hear a singer with a voice to match the high energy rush of the chords, but Sparks turns in an impressive effort for her new single. This will HIT at radio - undoubtedly.

I didnt like this song the first time I listened to it but now I like it, even though its totally not my style! (Power Ballads)...

I dunno how often ill personally play this, though I can see this getting a good amount of plays on radio in the US (I doubt it will get played over here).

I love the beginning its catchy but the middle its ok not the best but could be better........

Definite hit here, no doubt. Not my fav at all, but I can respect it. Just a little too 'poppy' for me, but this WILL be a hit.

This is a HUGE hit, mark my words! Best single to date, love the production and the whole "Get your armor" part is addictive!

This songs gonna be ALL over the radio, and ALL over girls myspaces and ringtones and such, Sparks is a great singer, and has amazing vocals, This song has a good topic for her. The production works well with her voice as well.

This is a beautiful song. I heard it on American Idol this week. Insane how beautiful her voice is. I will listen to this for many a time to come. I have to call this a Classic.

Oh, and for those of you who think that this won't make it as big on radio as No Air, I think that's a very bold statement. Very bold, and very wrong.

This should be another hit from Jordin. I kinda got into it, but I mostly just respect it for what it is. I normally don't like this type of track, but it sounds a lot better than some other cookie cutter music on the radio lately. The production is great how it builds along with her vocals. We all know she can sing, she did win that one show... So, not quite my thing but I can respect the obvious hit potential.

@bowwserr, this song MIGHT go up the charts but it wont be as successful as No Air. in that song she grasped a lot of people who listens to r&b becuz of its sound and chris brown. the other songs she released didnt do as well. this will be another one of them.

love da production!

IMHO this is her best song to date; its got a bit more edge to it than I'm used to with her. Production hits the sweet part and that armor part does enough to make this a banger. As for the "No Air" comparison unfortunately I don't think it will do as well bcuz Chris Breezy at that time was selling tracks. I think its on another level but what I think and what the general public thinks often have quite a variance between them.

She performed this on American Idol the other day and it was actually good live singing. And yeah, I think this is pretty good too. I just don't like the production in some parts...but overall clap clap clap.

Yh I agree this will never beat 'No Air' but she has set the benchmark of R'n'B because this is absolutely incredible in every angle (from production to her outstanding voice).

@that1kid13 - You're right about her other songs. BUT!! Were those songs as good as this one right here? I don't think so. I think this is her best to date.

Then again, I'm biased, because this song is hittin home for me right now, and is more relevant to my current life than No Air. And until that situation changes, this song will be, in my opinion, better. No Air was AMAZING, but this song transcends it by a fraction.

i liked the beginning wit the drums then the keys and ruined it for me,way too generic for me but this will probably be a hit

This is the definition of SUMMER ANTHEM! Expect another good few singles from Ms. Sparks (and an equally good album). For those who prefer the pop sounds, she's the artist I recommend for them. "Battlefield" is proof why.

naw,. i dont like it . i thought i would at the beginning of the song. but i really never liked her. it might grow on me afterr i have to listen to it with friends in the carr . or sumthinn but i guess ., i give it 2 stars

@ bowwsherr: i think its ur situation thats got u liking this. lol. this has no spark to it. and this will fall into the same category as tattoo and... what else? dont remember. this song is really forgettable. and i didnt even like "No Air". the only song ive EVER liked of hers is called "Break Them".
so she's yet to impress ME individually.

@that1kid13 - It very well may be that my situation got me to listen to this song. But I highly doubt it. I first heard her perform it live on American Idol, liked it, then decided to listen to the studio version when it got on the Booth. I personally loved No Air. It was a beautiful song. And this one, too, is a beautiful track. It also has some truth to it.

But, like I said, it very well could be my situation. I hope not, though. It'd be a shame if I stopped listening to this song.
