Down in the dumps? The appropriately-named Jon Hope is back in the Booth with a new record that’s sure to make you feel a little bit Better. Debuted on Tuesday, the first official single off Hope’s upcoming Some Kind of Wonderful EP finds the emcee once again working with Roll Call producer Taktix, who steps out from the behind the board to contribute an uplifting hook. This time around, LJC handles production duties, lending the record an introspective vibe with a few well-chosen piano chords. Expressing his hope (no pun intended) that the right music can help bring about a brighter tomorrow, the Rhode Island rapper sends a message that we can all stand behind. If you’re looking for a little pick-me-up come March, you’d Better take a trip to your local record shop and grab a copy of Jon Hope’s debut EP.

People are going to think this is boring but its not. Its just slow feel thats why. Great production and nice hook by Taktix..it fits perfectly. Jon Hope lyrics were perfect! This is straight chill uplifting music. Dope!

This industry would be a lot better if artists had as much to say as Mr. Hope. If its boring, that doesn't mean its bad. It just means it can only be appreciated if heard in the right setting.

We all love hip hop for different reasons (too many to list).....
Jon Hope has a cool swagger about him from his delivery..... it's definitely not boring ..... @ WOW - this could get better with a few more umm .. forced listens. LOL .... but she is entitled to her own opinion ,& i respect your opinion, whatever that is,... prod. is tight ... and tops it off with Hope’s sweltering verses.... |

The song would be really nice if it was properly MIXED & MASTERED! Poor sound quality and poor mix is def taking away from this artist.
Every instrument can't be the same volume, one has to compliment the other.. |

This has a real feel good vibe to it. Hope's lyrics were on point, and I definetly think he's a force to watch out for in the future. Hope to hear more from him. This is a banger.

hah im new to the website so i feel so off track with all the new songs but im so happy i found this site it can help me stay on top of the new songs :]
anywho this song is cool.. just to chill n listen to.. the beat is alright.. the whole auto tune idk.. seemd.. a lil much.. his rap made the whole beat work so much more.. though |

This is a great track. Each song (and music, in general) definitely sets a mood, and has its own "feel". This song has a nice comfortable encouraging feel to it, thats how music should be, inticing emotion and feelings into the listener. You jus have to be open to the emotion the music is trying to bring out ...if that makes sense haha!
