Upcoming Freestyle Series entrant Jon Connor released his Vinnie Chase Season 1 mixtape last fall. Now, roughly six months later, the Flint, Michigan native has remixed one of the stand out tracks from the street album. This time around Epic features guest contributions from New York natives Styles P. and emcee/producer Scram Jones, as production from frequent Blitz The Ambassador collaborator Optiks remains unchanged.

Damn the first verse was alright, the second verse was alright, but the third was straight FIRE!
I don’t mean any disrespect whatsoever to Styles & Scram, but Jon Connor’s verse just completely blew away the other two. It was 100x better than both of those guy’s verses. The original version was wayyyy better though because there weren’t any features, it was just Jon Connor. To me when it comes to Jon Connor the less features there are on his tracks, the more I love it. Nas had 1 feature on his classic Illmatic album, AZ. |

Scram Jones was going in. He's one of the few producers that has crossed over and actually provided dope lyrics.
Styles seemed to feel a little out of place here. Like always, Jon continues to impress. |
