If you’ve been looking for a song to roll up to a party with on Friday night, I have some bad news. Johnny Spanish has a track you’ll want to party with every night. If that’s a problem (say, for example, you’re Lindsay Lohan), you might want to avoid checking out his new promo single, What It Do. Attaching a distinctly slow southern drawl to this one, Spanish throws down some creatively written bars reminiscent of my own flow “game so tight I should own me an arcade.” (Note: My raps aren’t nearly that dope. Can’t blame me for trying through.) The enticing production, built pm light organ lines fueled with a powerful bump, is provided by SMKA, which takes What I Do’s vibe even deeper into the South. While the DJBooth Freestyle Series alum doesn’t have a project attached to this track, that won’t stop readers from doing What It Do along with this one. Usually, I am not a fan of songs centered around a chorus that uses an overblown or cliche saying in urban culture. "What It Do" obviously would fall into that category. However, Mr. Spanish is nothing like your usual artist (and neither is SMKA on the production tip). This is a lot of fun.

I only decided to listen to the song because of the cartoon.
Nevertheless, I was quite surprised. I don't why, but --at least to me--his voice had a resemble to Nelly's. |

Had the pleasure of seeing JS live and the man has the type of stage presence you would see in a veteran artist whose been doing it for years. Solid track from Spanish.

Damn Johnny Spanish keeps impressing me with his songs. The production on his tracks are always fire and SMKA doesn't disappoint here. Infact he basically steals the show. But Johnny's unique sing-rap style still shines through.

Wow this beat is CRAZY. The production from SMKA is amazing. As for the rest, this is an fantastic record from Johnny. I loved his last work. And this is just another reason to respect this dude. I loved every second of this song. His flow on his verses is so smooth with a great energy.
