Aside from his first buzz single, She Likes It (which peaked at #1 on our Underground Charts last year), Cool & Dre protégé Joe Hound has had a tough time gaining enough momentum to secure a release date for his debut, Misery Loves Company. With the official start of summer, however, Hound has some pep in his step and is giving it another go around on his newest single. Always quick to stunt, the emcee invites some female friends to Roll With Me and experience firsthand the true hood-rich lifestyle. Ultimately, though, Dre steals the show with his background-hook vocals and production duty alongside partner Cool. So, is Roll With Me a street hit for Joe Hound? If Misery Loves Company cheers up on store shelves later this year, then you’ll know the answer was ‘yes.’
I'm really not feeling this joint, even though the production is awesome. It also seems like a carbon copy production, but good nevertheless. Joe Hound's flow is not bad, and Dre's backgrounds are straight. I just can't really get with this. It's not a bad track, just not my style.
production is pretty good by cool & dre. joe hound is just a merely average rapper. he doesnt do much for me. this song is decent it has a catchy chorus.
Sadly, I feel as though Cool and Dre are going to spoil Joe for his entire career. Similar to what the JL have done with 2 Pistols, you cannot outshine such stellar production when your emcee skills are just okay.
The beat on this song is totally super, I'm feeling it! I don't like very much when they don't sing in the chorus, it sounds a bit repetitive...but nevermind, the beat is sooo good that the rest disappears! I also like the background music, decebt production
