Joe Budden has a unique appeal; he can wile out over an insane party banger and get intricately deep over a soft, moody underground beat. Similar to a comedian who nails a part in a drama role, Budden is a versatile artist who’s never afraid to showcase his many strengths. When the New Jersey MC stepped inside the DJBooth in January, he revealed that his new album, The Padded Room, would drop this May. Since then, the release date has been moved back to June 24. But, what Budden also revealed was that the new LP would be more upbeat (think Pump It Up) and less rainy-day dreary. So, for the first taste of the new album, the MC kept his word and has dropped the Klasix produced, Touch & Go. Versatile and honest, even better.

i like it.
i got to disagree with you michaelhannah the hooks short enough not to get annoying and simple enough to remember it but it sounds like he's standing away from the mic. vocals doesn't push through enough. |

First off...Thank you Joe Budden for Reppin Jersey HARD! He does a good job at puttin us on the map because his swagger is straight Jersey $hit! This beat/chorus combo is definitely different. I am feeling this. This would kill it in the club. Joe spits like Pump It Up on here...If his first album came out within 1 month of Pump it Up; then he would be platinum and a big sensation by now...Blame Def Jam for terrible marketing at that time!

Joey is one of the best!!! i tell you what if it wasnt for all the hate jersey gets and new york dudes afraid of what will happen if jersey gets a reputation we would of been taken over the game. blaze is right def jam did him nasty and theres no artist from jersey cuz we gets no brakes because but yall quick to come to our clubs and listen to our remixes are dance tracks our artist .. radio show jersey no love theres no new jersey djs on major stations in ny cuz they dont want that they hate on jersey man ... i would of gave it a 3 cuz this isnt his best but cuz its jersey its a banger and ill deff. put this in rotation for the hell of it and i bet yall be pumping to it as i spin it in the club jerzzzzzzzzz!!!
