Recently dropped from his deal with Sho’Nuff Records and currently mulling over a solo deal with his Boyz n da Hood label home, Bad Boy South, A-Town young gunna Jody Breeze has released his first independent single, Crack. While the title is one of the most-overused words to describe a level of addictiveness, Jody goes into uncharted territory by critiquing rappers who seem to need ice to look fresh (knock knock, Gucci Mane). As with most artists in the ATL, swagger is what sets Jody Breeze apart from his hometown peers. Hopefully, his new single will help him Crack his way back into the majors. The long-awaited (over four years) A Day In Da Life of Jody Breeze currently has no set release date.
Such singles should not be released.O.k lets say they should but i think they shall end at the level of the community or around his friends.i think every thing is weak about this track.the beats are so amateur, even though he struggled to follow the beat rhythm,it is still not good for the radios.i think he still has a long way to go if he needs to enter the industry.
Jody Breeze has mad potential, he just doesn't make very many radio friendly tracks. Like Tone + Chef said, this probably isn't going to get far...bummer!
He said"yall make nice songs, I make hits" I aint heard a hit from him yet, he was like 3rd best in boyz in the hood and this one right here aint going to get no radio play
J Breeze is one of the most underrated rappers. His lyrics are nice and his delivery is sick. The beat on this song sucks. The first verse needs to be re-written. 2nd and 3rd verse is 'crack'. Hook is ok (get T-pain to sing the hook..ha ha), but could be better...change the beat, 1st verse, hook and it could be a banger.
maybe the version you got was off balanced but the voals have been amplified way too much drowning out the instrumentals. the song is straight i'd listen to it again, the second verse sounds just like weezy tho but he's straight. has potential.
I don't know about him...It sounds like something else already...Like another rapper that is out already. Good Chorus, I like that a lot. He does have a flow and the beat is very good. I'll definitely listen to it again.
man da boy still sick 2 me i got most of his music he good lyrical all he got 2 do is push it i think he really dont give a f*@k bout rappin cause dis dude can be one of da best top 10 2 me personally he fire n yea he was cleaner in boyz n da hood but he do got da talent 2 go solo
