NiCS is a Booth newcomer, but he sounds like he has been around our parts for years. Maybe that is because I hear a little Freddie Gibbs in his flow. Maybe not. Maybe its because Numonics produced this record. Maybe not. Either way, I like this. A lot.

i took a look at the some the comments before i listened and i was like whoa a 5 start track. I couldnt wait to finish listening to H.A.M, so i could go onto this one. But now, i just dont see it. It's aight, but 1 thing its not is 5 stars. I wonder if JNics has friends or promoters on this site. hmmmm...

@ DJ E-Na - It's not even an "if" those are some friends or supporters. Those kind of people come on the booth all the time for these unsigned artists trying to get their ratings up. I wish the booth had some way to prevent this though because they aren't even legit members and give people too much credit where they arent always do. This song definitely isn't a 5 star song. I would side with your 2, but now since the rating for this song is distorted i'm gonna have to balance it out with a 1. Actually I'm suprised Z gave out a 4. But either way this song is definitely no where close to 5. Hopefully all of these supporters that come through the booth to rate only one or two songs, can find some other way to support their artists. It get's kind of annoying.

This track is something i can pop in the car everyday on my way to work and it has that feel good vibe [synonymous to JNiCs] Positive music that G's and Gents can vibe to. In short this music will make u feel good and Push forward (Two Thumbs up)

Dope! Wasn't familiar with J NiCS until this track, but dude is nice, ill voice! Production is ridiculious...within a very short time, Numonics has becomes a very relevant producer.

Nics has one of those instantly engaging voices - he actually reminds me of Tone Loc (anyone else?)....if Tone Loc dropped deep raps. I wasn't blown away by this, by I can't front, my head was nodding.
Speaking of which, and addressing the comment above, it's actually dope to see an artist has such a loyal fanbase they'll flood the Booth to comment, I've got nothing against that. But yes, to only rate their favorite song and ignore everything else, that's lame.

J NiCS really did great in this. "Slumber" is a banger for sure. I dont see how anyone can give this anything other than4 stars. Everything in this is great. The production from Numonics is great. J NiCS really killed his verses, with really on point lyrics. Also, the chorus is really interesting. I cant wait to hear more from J NiCS.

Wow I never heard of J Nics before, but to say that this record impressed me is an understatement.
The production & the lyrics were both AMAZING! I normally don't even bother listening to southern artists because most of them can't rhyme at all. In my opinion if your from the south you better be DOPE! Example Jay Electronica. I definitely want to hear a lot more from Nics. |

Ok, I am not even hating....His voice is definately the selling point here and the production is definately smooth. BUT!!! 5 STARS....no, no, no. Its a good song not a classic, seriously you guys must be dreaming...LOL. Or is it because of the series of lame songs that is posted here that once an "OK" song is heard you get the feeling of a classic. I dont know...I have to hear more from him. But 34 comments dang...thats normally some Kanye or Drake thing.

HOLY CRAP! My favourite song of ALL time is Scribe - Dreaming. Helped me through a HUGE roughpatch of my life. The chorus of this song is nearly aligned with the beat of that song. But you know what? I'm not dissapointed at all, because I am loving every monet of this song. Numonics on top right now. J NiCs without a doubt on top.
