Booth readers, I don’t say this lightly, but JMSN‘s latest feature is really Something. And the video? Well, it’s something else. Oh, you’re looking for specifics? Let’s see… single numéro trois off his newly-released debut full-length, the record finds the indie crooner continuing in the moody, reflective vein of his last feature, the acclaimed Alone. Whereas that record saw JMSN flying solo, however, this joint describes the kind of loneliness that can take root in the midst of a relationship whose spark is dying. Over his own brooding boardwork, a headphone-ready mix of understated guitar riffs, insistent percussion and atmospheric string flourishes, the Detroit native describes a once-passionate love that’s faded into an empty shell of what it once was: “Lights go off, we f*ck around, it just don’t feel the same…” Fans can find this cathartic cut and much more on JMSN’s †Priscilla† LP, released to iTunes today. Oh, and don’t forget to peep that video—unless you’re squeamish about slimy sea creatures…or blood… or dirty bathwater.

JMSN has such a bright future ahead of him. "Something" is surely something else. Worthy of your ears and your money. And I don't say that about too many artists these days.

Excellent vocals by JMSN. I'm feelin this joint. This is nice and smooth all the way through. It got better and better as the song progressed. Great track with a nice beat by Priscilla.

I've been a user on this site for almost 2 years now and never signed up (shame on me). Anyways I just had to express to everyone how good this track is. I just love how the percussion laces with the melody on this song and JMSN's vocals is like the icing on the cake.

This song is great, but the video might be more disturbing than Yonkers was for most, IMO.

I bought his album a few days ago, I can't stop listening to it, you heard it from me booth a MUST BUY if you're a fan of the Weeknd sort of music, this guy sings more about 'pain' though. You can feel it in his voice.

Some strong similarities between JMSN and The Weeknd. That's a good thing.

I think Drake should bring a contract and a pen...Imagine a track with The Weeknd and JMSN = pure awesomeness !

***time

Jmsn and The Weeknd are NOT to be compared...seriously guy's...The Weeknd have his own style , and JMSN have his own too...JMSN is more the DARK side of love or life...The Weeknd is the playa's of love...so you hear The Weeknd's song to make love , and JMSN to forget or cry against life or love LOL so there's two difference between them....But they are the FUTUR so far...

This song is SO real. I loved every bit of it. Some people my be turned off by the music video but I loved every bit of it. JMSNs' artistic approach to music videos keep me entranced from beginning to end. It flows PERFECTLY with this song. Make sure to check out JMSNs' blog depicting the video if you don't understand it. Very eye opening.
