Featured back in mid-December, 2 PistolsMy Gurl found the emcee buying his special someone black pearls in honor of President-Elect Barack Obama.  What does this have to do with Jim Jones‘s Precious, you ask?  Well, after hearing the Dipset vet ask the woman of his dreams to “be [his] Michelle,” I’m starting to think that Obama-themed gifts and pickup lines are just the thing to step up my game with the ladies (I’ll keep you posted on how this pans out).  Jokes aside, this romantic record is a strong candidate for follow-up to Pop Champagne, the lead single off Jones’ forthcoming Pray IV ReignRyan Leslie does double-duty on the cut, contributing a bass-driven beat that bursts into bloom on his crooned hook, and Jones’ surprisingly punchline-heavy verses set Precious a cut above other for-the-ladies records.  Pray IV Reign, Jones’ fourth studio album, is set to hit store shelves February 20th.

Jim Jones...WHY? Why do you keep making music?...No, the real question is why did they even sign you to a label? I don't mean to sound rude but seriously, I can't stand anything about his music/anything he's a part of...and when I do- it's really rare. We Fly High was probably his best track that I liked- it was "ballin!" haha. This is garbage- Ryan could not save this.

Jones aint toooo bad on this, but this is typical Leslie, unpolished production. Everything just sounds too raw. like it's for a mixtape or something

From a production stand point Ryan makes Hell fire! From a rapping standpoint, Jim makes Feces. I really like this song, though, I just ignore the verses and sing the hook. Good base line.

I actually like this!
The production is fresh as you'd expect from Leslie.
Jim Jones on the other hand has been surprising me positively. His laid back flow is somewhat enjoyable, the adlibs are kinda cool and you can tell he's workin to deliver better lyrics. I respect him more since the Byrdgang album.

Honestly, Jones needs to take a hiatus and decide if its worth the money to keep trying to make another hit, We Fly High was a hectic song, but its incredible unlikley he'll ever be able to make a song anything like it.

I felt that Leslie's hook was what allowed me to enjoy this song, though Jones did deliver a nice smooth flow. He has improved, ill give him that, but he is no were near as good as he claims to be.

Ryan Leslie did his thing on this one. IDK what y'all listening to...but R-Les did his thing. Jimmy was meaty okra, but not bad. This is actually alternative hip hop single material for Jones.

I like the produxtion. The best is really good! But Jim Jones sounds a lil boring, I don't like his flow very much. As for Ryan Leslie, he did his thing, I like him!
