If you were ever the victim of schoolyard taunting, then Jim Jones’ latest official single selection might evoke some unpleasant memories; riding high off his his moneymaking prowess, the Dipset emcee leans out of his drop-top to shout “Na Na” at passers-by. With up-and-comer Brittney Taylor lending a hand on the hook, Jones creates an anthem for those who are making money in ‘09, and want everybody to know. ILLFONICs’ mix of tinny, harpsichord-esque synths with a bass-heavy rhythm section provide a driving backdrop as Jones flaunts his wealth, spitting with singsong, playground-inspired cadences. Though tough economic times may make it difficult for fans to play along at home, there’s no question that the March 24th release of Pray IV Reign will have Jim Jones and his crew laughing all the way to the bank, not to mention popping a whole lot of primo champagne.

This production goes HARD and Jim Jones rips it. There is absolutely no denying that.
As for the chorus, very weak sauce and makes the hook very annoying. Completely ruins the overall feel of the track. Without that part this one had banger status all over it. |

Here is what bothers me: This COULD have been a hit record. The beat is more than solid, single-worthy in fact (makes sense, since this was chosen as his newest single). The accompanying effort by Brittney Taylor was really solid. BUT... Jones just doesn't do it for me on this one. Plies would have killed this... but Jones didn't.
Rotation minus Jones equals... 2.8?

I gotta admit, the flow is alright considering it is Jim Jones... the production is just average and the hook is a little annoying... I think he could have taken it in a different dirrection to make the song better... Just Ok

The Na Na hook sounds really childish it was creative but it doesnt work for this song. The production is solid and Jim Jones ruined it I wish I heard another MC freestyle this shit. Overall its a iight song

Hold on (press play right now) I knew it he trying to use the same formula he used on he last hit record "We Fly High". Jimmy you can't keep going to the well cause sooner or later that mothf*cka gone be dry. The formula for We Fly High and this song is that 1. Tempos 2. Jim do a hook then a female repeats the same hook. 3. Catchy phrase was "Balling" now "Na Na Na Na Na Na" Sorry Jimmy but I ain't going down with the captain I bout to get off the ship RIGHT now. |

Jim Jones has come out with strong music recently, but this made me lose a bit more respect.This is pure garbage what is "Na Na Na Na Na Na" , tell me one mc in the game would make a weaker chorus then that......no one!
I'm sorry but this is not the jim Jones im use to hearing. At least be creative! |

Loosen up people, Jim’s just actin a fool: nananananana! :p It matches my favourite smiley, lol I don’t see this as lack of creativity, he just wanted to have fun with it! Give him props for daring to do so.
@ BigTstacksmoney, (“Im laughing straight to the bank with this”) “Hahahaha Ha Ha Hahahaha” was arguably WORSE than “nananananana”, since Yayo’s voice sounds horrible even to only say that. Oh, and it was NOT creative by 50 either, but I doubt people complained then. I liked Jim’s delivery, it was expressive and natural, rather than a “tryna sound hard” boring same old approach. Beat is GREAT, in the lines of DjZ and richard (dope summaries fam)! Where’s NOE at?!? |

DAMN, this is WACKNESS! I think Jim Jones has officially lost his swagger! As soon as Max B left, this dude has been weak and reaching for the stars to which he once belonged! A lot of these verses are plain weak, or don't rhyme, or just sound stupid! I didn't hear NOE on this track anywhere by the way...he could have made it better.

Great production. The switch-ups are on point on this. Jones' flow is just ok. The chorus is memorable and catchy. Way to throw the chick in the track for the female appeal. I think its ok.
