In recent months, we’ve heard quite a few R&B singers use onomatopoeia to set a sultry mood; on Jim Jones latest feature, however, the Dipset emcee reminds us that lyrical sound effects can also be pretty damned intimidating. For example, if you hear the Clack Clack of Jones’ Tec-9, a romantic evening is probably not in the cards (unless you find mortal danger a turn-on), and you’d be well served to heed the advice of hookman Akon: “Just cooperate and you will walk away.” Guest emcee Sand steps in to provide moral support on his hard-nosed second verse and DJ Green Lantern sets an appropriately menacing mood, lacing his downtempo production with clattering cymbals and synth arpeggios. Despite big-name assistance on the beat and chorus, Clack Clack didn’t make it onto the Pray IV Reign tracklist—it should, however, whet listeners’ appetites for the LP’s March 24th release.

This song is just nothin special. I do like the production and the mood that it sets, and the hook is cool even though it could be better. Jim Jones is not that great to listen to for me. The last time I really liked anything Jones rapped about was on Cam's "Come Home With Me" like how long ago? His voice and slow, boring flow is just not interesting too me. Even though I've never heard of Sand I thought his vibe was more interesting and sounded better over the beat.

Akon has one of the best voices that I have ever heard. I'm just gonna throw that out there. His hooks haven't been as great lately, though. His hook on here was decent, but nothing spectacular. This wasn't a bad track overall, though. The production on here was pretty tight. I would say that this is the best track Jim Jones has made since "We Fly High." I have disliked all of his recent singles and I think this should be on the album. It is a lot better than "Pop Champaigne" in my opinion. I just don't think Jim Jones has much talent and I really couldn't care less about the album dropping to tell the truth.

OK job by Jones, I liked the overall feel though. Akon's hook was nothing spectacular, just solid, but I second GStan in saying he has one of the best voices, so solid is still way above so many others in the game.
Nobody has mentioned Green Lantern's production, and I thought that beat was great. It's really the reason I downloaded this one after only a few seconds listen. In rotation, time will tell how heavy. |

Today is minimal feedback day, people. Keep up the great feedback/comments!!!
If Jimmy hummed, I would give this rotation-status for the very reason that Lantern did a great job behind the boards and Akon knows how to sing a damn hook. |

I'm gettin sick of Akon on these just average tracks. He needs to pick and choose a little more carefully on what he jumps on. The rest of this was pretty lame, no flow or vibe and couldn't connect,

I'm really not a Jim Jones fan. He hasn't put something together that really stood out to me. This another one. Just another song that repeats the title to many times

only reason why songs like this get heard and do get a decent rating is cuz the hook makes the song, i like the hook and the beat its real laid back, akon made this song... otherwise jim jones, i dont see how people like his music, he got the lamest lyrics yet people still ride his jock... ima give this a 3.5 simply cuz i get tied into the beat and hook and the whole feeling of the song

DJ GREEN LANTERN is one of my favorite DJ's of all time (Please see Makaveli album by Green Lantern)! Good to see he is still doing his thing even after the fallout with Eminem... Very good production on here! JIM JONES IS GARBAGE AND HE NOW HAS NO WAVE! His lyrics are Elementary without Max B! You can hear the difference in his flow now...He's just not the same. Akon kills the chorus! I'll give it two stars just for Green Lantern and Akon, but Jim Jones' flow is now GARBAGE! NO WAVERY! He keeps falling off them Surf Boards!!! OOWWWW!

Cam and Jim need to kiss and make up. Jim can't rhyme, and Cam can blow without Jim's business sense. Everyone hears Jim's stuff, which is hot garbage, and no one hears Cam's stuff, which es muy caliente. As for this song, Jim brings nothing special, it's extra regular.

agree with cb126405 completely. akon has talent vocally (and as a producer), dude needs to filter out the type of artists he collaborates with.

forgot to rate. akon makes up for the lackluster production by green lantern and performance by jim jones through his hooks. akon is the only reason why this gets anything above 1 star.
