While musically the city of Miami seems to be dominated by Rick Ross and his crew of Maybach’ers there’s still a gang of other artists putting in work for the “305.” This includes fellow South Floridian emcee Jigg. Last featured in the DJBooth in May, thanks to his mixtape single So Hot, Jigg marks his return with the Young RY-produced Share It For You. Unlike his previous releases, Jigg takes a more genuine approach with Share as he touches on being betrayed by friends and struggling with family issues. Young RY’s production on the track seems to take on a tone similar to the content of the song, pensive yet hopeful. Share It For You will be featured on Jigg’s forthcoming, but currently-unscheduled mixtape Highgrade 2.

Jigg has a lot of very wise/important/powerful people in his corner, so along with some improved production muscle, he seems like a much safer bet to succeed than just 6 months ago. Still some room for growth, but he has the skills to pay the bills in this industry.
