When a jet airplane flies overhead, its sound barrier-breaking noise will almost certainly send shockwaves through your body. When producer Jet Audio creates beats, inspired by 90’s hip-hop and good ‘ol Saturday morning cartoons, he tries to achieve similar results. Doing his part to bring back the traditional MC and producer alliance, Jet has teamed up with fellow New York City native Chief Rapier for the Truly Yours mixtape; the first single A Million and One Ways shows Rapier breathing some life into the stale paper-chase, as Jet concocts a brand new sound that can be described in a variety of ways (old, new, fresh, easygoing – pick one). If you’re looking for A Million and One Ways to see how your body responds to audio experimentation, download Jet Audio and Chief Rapier’s Truly Yours mixtape, available for free on Jet’s official website.
Production was good until the drum came in and distorted it. They should have smoothed it out and added an 808 with a more simple drum rirt in my opinion. His has an annoying tone as well to me. this one had potential, but got lost somewhere for me.
Check the blurb to see why I enjoy it-Right now with everything going on (I'm a Packers fan) I just feel like something to relax to. I'll rate both of the New Yorkers' singles a 5 right now (all I ask in return is for NYC to take good care of Brett, OK?)
The song was aight... the lyrics were o k... the beat could have been better, it needs a little more work. By the way, M. Burmy, don't worry about it, Brett is in good hands, he is going to save the Jets season, and the fans will love him for it.
the song si ok, the beat gets on my nerves really quickly make sme not wanna listent to teh track again, the drums made it worse in the second verse but anyways. medicore song. 2 stars
I like the production, it's original...but I don't like him, he sounds extremely boring! He is what makes the song annoying after a while, at least to me.
Jet Audio laid down a very well put together beat and the rapping from Chief Rapier complimented it nicely. I would love to hear another emcee over this beat, but it will do.
