Since singer Jessi Malay claims (on her website) that her last single Booty Bangs wasn’t really a song about “the booty,” then I’m guessing her newest single Cinematic isn’t really a song about making movies (even though the song starts off with phrases like “I’ll be your star,” “Come make a movie with me,” and “The camera is ready”). Produced by DJ Felli Fell (The Finer Things), Cinematic has a beat you can nod your head to, but Malay’s vocals give it that sensual feeling as well. The song will be included on her self-titled debut album due out in late spring.

Beat seems seasonal...meaning it's what's hot right now. This is a nice flow though. Jessi's voice is pretty smooth. This will bang for dancing and the car at night.

I'm not really feeling this track too much. I am sorta diggin the style; but it just sounds too generic coming from Jessi Malay. Its a good attempt though. Give this track to Madonna, Janet Jackson, or even Brittany Spears and it would probably really kill it!

Ok I have to resign to the omnipresent voicebox LOL! I actually like this song, it's very catchy. I'm with Michaelhannah, this seems to be seasonal and in a couple of months it'll be already old! It's good to listen to in the car with friends or to dance in the clubs. I'm sure that if this became known here in Italy, they would put it in rotation every weekend! They always put Umbrella (still now), why not puttin also this one?! It's the same type of song, catchy but not solid

Felli puts it down with this beat; he has SERIOUS production skills that VERY FEW "DJ/artists" have. Jessi has some skills... but I'd like to hear her sing live. I have a problem with studio voices, cough*cough, Britney.

this is def one of those white gurl club songz in the vain of the Pussycat Dolls, Nelly Furtado, etc. However, it's not really that good. it just lacks passion, like i get the impression this artist was bored making this song. well maybe not bored, but just not all that enthused. therefore, i'm not enthused either.

I agree wit DJ Blaze if you gave this track to someone like Madonna, Janet, or B. Spears they'll kill it. This is not the rite song for her.
