Didn’t I Tell You that emcee Jermiside and producer Danny Diggs ain’t nothing to play with? Oh, I didn’t? And this is their first Booth feature? Well, consider yourself told. On this new single off the dynamic duo’s forthcoming collaborative album, the Vancouver beatsmith slices and dices a smooth soul sample into a head-nodding old-school instrumental as the Cincinnati-raised, ATL-based rhymesayer mixes braggadocio with vivid lyrical imagery, touting his mic skills while effortlessly cutting the “doubters” and dream drowners” down to size. Topped off with the guest bars of an equally talented underground mainstay, Tanya Morgan member Von Pea, this single should be just the thing to grab the attention of lyrical heads with a taste for the retro. If you like what you’re hearing, you can find Didn’t I Tell You and much more on Jermiside and Danny Diggs’ Middle Classic LP, set to hit stores and online retailers May 25, via HiPNOTT Records.

Aside from the fact I cannot think of anything but antibacterial hand wash when I see the stage name Jermiside (sorry, but its true - at least as I type this feedback paragraph), I liked everything about this song. There is a real 'bounce in his step' when Jerm rhymes. Maybe its the soul-sampled production he is flowing over. Or maybe not. In the end, its very clean (sorry, bad pun).

Really diggin' the soulful production. I'm actually likin' this dudes flow as well. The chorus sounds almost the exact same as his verse, but not a bad track.

hes real up on it here and the beat is well tailored for his style. its generic beat but with drums holding the rythem and little echos within the instrumental but it holds it own and ryhmes spit over tracks like these are hott no doubt this is firee too!

3.5 stars its definitely in rotation

Another Atlanta kid out to make a living. Everything on this song spells rotation. Always digging the soul though nothing really sinks in with me. Just a solid, germ-free song.

LOL @ Z's comment on the name jermiside. I'm really diggin the soulful production, the only beef I have with this track is it's hard to Differintiate verses from the hook.

Classic verse, just like being on a cruise ship off to Brazil, there is sun, a jazz band and this lovely melody being played at the cruiseship pool where you are flirtin with that special girl.

Good Song.. Like said the Beat is soul-full. but like dj Something allready said.... you cant really notice when the verse ends and the hook starts.
a the verses are goog but forgettable.. so the beat is the one that sticks out in this song.

@Z, I actually think of a contraceptive method when I hear the name Jermiside, so I guess we can all see that my mind's more in the gutter than you.

But what's in a name. The man's got some serious skills. The production's got my head-nodding and the rhymes just mellowed me the f**k out. Respect.

My day at booth isn't complete without one of these tracks. Rappers does their thing on with the lyrics and sounds extremely comfortable over Danny Digg’s easy-on-the-ear type soulful production. Rotation-Stuff!

Production sounds similar to K. Spark's "Family Matters" track. That is a good thing, by the way. While not as great as Sparks' track, this track manages to hold it's own. Jermiside can spit (listen to third verse) and with that said and done, how come I have never heard of him.

I really liked this to say the least. Here is to hearing more dope music from this man.

The soul vibe really works well to Jerms advantage. It really allows him to showcase what he has to offer and I applaud him for his skillz.

Everyone did a grade A job and even though this has nothing to make it special it is a good hip-hop song that people should respect.

The sample is nice. With the beat it reminds me of an old school beat. All the dudes have nice flows that fit this beat.

It's the type of track that has no problem with it's content but rather what's missing. Unless average was all they aimed for.

I feel like I have too many of these tracks already from the booth, it wouldn't add to my collection, it would just be there, and that would be doing this track a disservice.
