Although most mainstream audiences have never heard of him, Jeff Jones certainly knows how to make catchy records.  Last seen in the Booth with single I Do What I Want To, Jeff is now preparing to drop a new mixtape, after which he will focus on the release of his long-awaited debut album, God Given.  Employing rap-ballad formula (arguably the most radio-friendly format of this decade), the Los Angeles native has dedicated his own ballad to a woman who’s been running around him, leaving him in the grips of Dizzy Love.  Produced by “Sho” Wilson, Dizzy Love has our recommendation for first official single selection; it would certainly serve the purpose of getting God Given on store shelves.  Now, if only Jeff Jones could pick up another deal…

It's not bad... I'm just not feelin it. I can see how the hook can be sort of catchy, but its not that great. I really don't like the verses. I can see this being a mini-hit, but I don't like it.

Oh, and he should stick to rapin, cuz the flow on the last verse was alright, pushing it up to two stars for me.

I respect all of our members and their opinions, so I won't judge anyone who has left feedback above me in a negative light. But honestly... this record is everything you look for in a catchy hit: singalong hook, simplistic vocals, danceable beat. While I like Jeff a lot more as a rapper than an emcee, I admire his effort.

The production on this by Sho Wilson sounds preety good...
but Jeff's efforts just don't seem strong and captivating for me to give this anything higher than
a 3 stars.....

OMG! This sreams 1990's! I'm not diggin this at all. It's too poppy for me. I can see it making a shine though. Maybe if he get's Weezy on the remix or something. JK. But for real, it's not my kind of music. The music and lyrics are so simple. He rap flow is cool - very commercial which sells. So the formula is there for Jeff to make this a hit, but in my opinion there are enough strictly commercial artists out here that he may just blend in with the rest.

i also respect those with different opinions, but this artist jeff jones has written songs that you prolly listen to right now. the song is catchy! and so what if it might sound 1990's maybe thats what we need!! with up-coming artist or potential "celebrities" you can never be --CLOSE MINDED!! but this is a GREAT SONG! and no no no lil wayne would ruin this song unless he had somethin to rap about thats 300 degrees less vulger or provocative. yeah lil weezy is a rapper of success...but if anyone could disect what most celebrities HELP weeve into our childrens and OUR "OWN" EARS....haha this song... it's soothing like green light by john legend. fun & catchy. PPPPPSSSSHHH this song is dope!!
