When Jeezy released Lose My Mind I had mixed feelings. Sure, the Drumma Boy produced knock-fest was sonically triumphant and Mr. Trap or Die’s hook was more infectious than the swine flu. But having Plies do a guest verse? That was more like an allergic reaction. Luckily, Jeezy recruits a much sicker emcee for the song’s latest remix as the fan-tested and mother-approved Drake lends his vocals to the menacing banger. Claiming that he “kinda sorta” loves women (yeah right lover guy), Drake delivers a quick 16 full of stunting without sounding out of place. And although he isn’t at his most lyrical here - “all seeing I (eye)/ my, I (eye) seen it all” - the Canadian heartthrob manages to drop this verse at the perfect time: the song premiered at last night’s BET Awards, he mentions monstrous first week sales of Thank Me Later and silences haters. Rappers: take note, this is how to drop a track in style. If this doesn’t do it, maybe you’ll get motivated to pick up a copy of Jeezy’s Thug Motivation 103 when it drops soon.

They added Drake, subtracted Plies, and everything Jeezy/Drumma Boy-related remains unchanged. This is an improvement in my book (and much better than that "Everything White" record Jeezy just released last week).

Drake continues to unimpress me. This was 12 bars too, not 16.

Ever since he signed with YM he's gotten worse in my opinion. He continues to fall from my favorite rappers list.

Jeezy - Plies + Drake = a better track. Though I don't want to raise it to a 5 cause of Drake because he wasn't a huge addition for the 12 bars as 'Joe92' said, this is 100x better than the original.

Yeah, Joe92 said it all.

Drake is better than Plies but I could name a million rappers better than him too, so that's not saying much. This track is so hard but Drake ruins it. Drake dosen't sound right on a street banger like this, T.I. or Luda would of been a better replacement.

This beat is too heavy for Drake and his flowery raps. Yeah he's the hottest right now, but not a great fit. At least he attempts to sound hard...

TI, Luda, and a new Jeezy verse would be my choice.

Joe92-Thank Me Later was a lot better than i expected, but your right-one more thing weezy ruined in the game(weezy is trash too, wayyyy overrated). But commenting on the song, it's better than the original, but drakes verse was still sub-par

"All seeing eye, my eyes seen it all."

This was the most significant line in the entire song...

Although in general I like Drake better than Plies, Drake's verse wasn't as memorable as Plies. Still better than "All White Everything".

I thought Plies killed it! His energy was on point...Drake came through and did his thing, though it isnt exactly the best verse ive heard of his...This record is hot, unfortunately ive only caught on to it in the last few weeks or so, but ill be banging this for a while :D

Kinda killed the energy of the song...even though I hate Plies he matched the song well. Imagine if it were Gucci though. He woulda went harder lyrically than plies and still fit the song.

Drake is a better rapper than plies BUT drake's energy wasn't equal to the song. He almost sounded dead compare to Jeezy and ESPECIALLY compared to Plies's energy. Plies was a better decision for this record overall. I'm actually gonna say the song went down some with drake on it.

From Plies to Drake? Let me upgrade you. The original's a banger, and with Drake's good but not great verse from Drizzy it has the potential to really hit.

"I got [hos] drinking sangria like fing water." - Drake <<< That's a really inefficient and expensive way to get hos drunk.

Jeezy's weakest promo/street single to date is much improved here bc of Drake and the loss of Plies...N I see the small handful of Drake haters have all gathered on this site

Man Plies verse was actually OK after listening to this a bit, it suits the beat, I wreckin' chuck Drake on the end verse and leave Plies verse and you got yourself a banger!

I can honestly say I only like one Plies song ("Plenty Money". After hearing this song over 2000 times Plies wasn't the problem, Jeezy was. Don't know when it happened but Jeezy has been missing the mark lately. Hopefully after rapping like he gave a damn on Drake cd we will get better music than this tripe.

I dont know how anyone can think this is an improvement by cutting out Plies, his style was perfect for the song and his loud, high-energy bars were my favourite part of the original

Its good to see Jeezy and Drake working together but Drake's lighter style was a complete mismatch for this heavy beat. Still a great song musically though and if i heard this before the original i'd probably be giving a whole different review

Some of the best i've heard of Jeezy
