When Scarface said, “I sit alone in my four-cornered room staring at candles,” you knew there was something psychotically special about the legendary Houston MC, but when you listen to Jean’s newest single, Voices In My Head, you can enjoy your mental sickness over a Timbaland-esque beat. Taking his own path to success, this Latin alternative soul artist seeks to showcase his unique musical person as well as his distinctive sound on new track Voices in My Head.  The bilingual artist, who cut his teeth recording songs with artists like Trey Songz, Baby Bash, and Latin Grammy-winning producer Sebastian Kris, is set to drop his debut album, Out the Box, before the end of 2008.

The production is off the chains. I definitely like how it came off. Jean is pretty decent. I think this is a definite radio banger. I think I wanna remix this! I'm definitely feeling the vibe. 4 stars...certainly.

im tired of timbo-esque beats, way too many, everyone else will probably like this but i feel like this is recycled r&b/pop thats been on the radio from 2006 til now

Jean's last song was insane. I tried to look for it and couldn't find it. Thanks for giving us another track from dude, maybe now I can go back and download that other one. This one is decent, definitely carved outta Timbos Pumpkin. Playable.

I'm away on business (in NY - what up?) and don't have time for thoughtful and insightful comments. Which means...

Timeless. This gentleman knows how to connect to the essence of emotional landscapes inside every human being, something most of the world avoids. Reason why war is so prevalent.

The arrangement is fantstic, the piano fusion with the high beat "ready- starts" your internal engine to release yourself through dance. As you listen...

Picture a man in a solitary gray world, dancing against all the sadness and negativity in the world: "that you come back into my life...I won't be afraid no matter what they say" singing to Happiness...to come back in
