Though I enjoy the occasional rock concert, I generally can’t stand the crowds—nine times out of ten, I’ll end up watching some band play their hearts out to a bunch of motionless, skinny-jeaned kids who, by all appearances, are holding a competition to see who can look the most bored.  At a particularly lively show, you might see some greasy-haired headbanging and arrhythmic toe-tapping; what you definitely won’t see are the kind of moves JD Era, an up-and-comer introduced to the Booth via Solitair‘s Can’t Front, describes on his first solo feature.  On newly-leaked album track Rock N Roll, the Canadian emcee teams up with T-Dot phenom and Booth darling Drake to pay tribute to a fine female who’s burning up the dancefloor.  Complete with a sparse, Boi-1da-produced beat driven by Casio-style pipe organ, this cut may not be all that “rock”-sounding, but it’s perfect for rollin’ down the city streets, and should sound equally at home in the clubs.  If you like what you’re hearing, keep it locked to our frontpage for release details on his forthcoming, currently-untitled LP.

JD impressed us on his featured Solitair collabo, so it made sense that sooner or later he'd have his own feature here. Most artists would be crazy to feature Drake on a single right now (see Jay-Z), for fear he'd show them up (inadvertantly, of course). Not the case here. Drake does his thing, but JD more than holds his own.

Not impressed, however, with Boi 1da's simplistic production - he is capable of better.

This beat is sick. JD and Drake both had very solid appearances. Lyrically nothing special but their flows were real good, so it should make some noise in the clubs.

Other than Drake's no substance but highly entertaining verse this joint is what we call - Mediocre songs with mediocre titles/hook with a kinda annoying/repititive beat ... Rotation for Drake's verse who is constantly impressing me with his guest features.

This is just a hot track that is easy to listen to, even if the hook doesn't make all that much sense. Both artists did their thing on their respective verses, and the beat was bangin (until it got a lil old.)

This joint was fire. I've been playing it all week.

It sounds about 3 years old, because that's Drake's ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT flow (the best style from Drake in my opinion).

Good joint. I hope to hear these type of verses from Drake on the album.

J.D Era always impresses me with his style. He's got a pretty dope joint out with the homey QuESt too, for fans of both QuESt & JD.

I don't like the beat here. That Organ is annoying as hell, aside from that, its a solid track. Hook has a good feel to it, JD and Drake murdered it.

Dope raps, the beat is definitely growing on me although I wish there was a little more bass and the organ is a little annoying. Big up to the Canadian boys from Canada!

Great production, Drake does a great job as usual, but the last thing I want to see is him spiral down with the ym train and become more focused on quantity than quality. Also, when was this song released? Because Mickey Factz Rockin and Rollin remix is over a year old and the beats are very similar.
