Newcomer JC knows exactly what time it is on his catchy collaboration with Rick Ross, Tic Toc. The 22-year-old singer, songwriter and producer croons with undeniable swagger over a beat by the production duo, Blu2ooth, which is made up of JC and his partner Tre Stylz. The Tennessee native obviously knows his stuff; adding Rick Ross to a song off of his forthcoming debut looks great for this young stunner. The two Southern ballers are anything but shy on Tic Toc, and bare it all on this ode to their timepieces. “I got a boo that works at Fed Ex, she’ll get everything from Cartier to Rolex,” JC brags, letting it be known that watches and women are two things he isn’t lacking. In the end, Tic Toc makes one thing very clear: JC understands that time is money, and he shall not be wasting any.
Triple Threat! I knew that JC had potential the first time i heard him!, Great job going with Blu2ooth on this one here to, Every single one of those labels should be Proud to have him!
This knocks right here! nothin to think too deep about, just shut up and ride ta this! On the way to the club at 11:45pm! Fresh dressed ready stunt on um! yea this song is some fly shit!
I'm proud to see this song finally released as an official single! I've been bumping this song consistently in my ride for the past 3 or 4 months! The bass knocks and the beat is crazy, JC brings a solid flow that lets you ride out and chill...BANGER for sure!
I love watches myself, so that is one expense I never have a problem with rappers flaunting. JC has a nice voice and Ross is always a good choice on the feature tip. In terms of the song itself... yes, it was first released last year. However, it is just now being pushed as a single. (Which means one thing: nobody cares when you first heard it.)
For everyone giving this song under 3 stars: Download this song, burn it to a CD, play it on a sound system with bumping subs and bass, and then let me know if your opinion changes.
After cb126405 comment... this is gonna get a higher rating lol! I can't wait to burn this... Other wise this is hot ... I agree it is weak at some of JC points, but Rick Ross as always does his thing!
The usual from Rick... nothin better, nothing worse... but JC has got FLO... he slids through the song..the lyrics are okay, lacking expirience, but he's got time (and money) to get better... the beat is flat... very simple...
All in all, songs gud.
I could've sworn DJ Booth had this song up A LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNGGGG TIME AGO!! Like MONTHS ago. I do remember this song so I guess that says something about it lol
