Justin “JC” Crowder is the only solo R&B artist signed to Block Ent./Bad Boy South and is preparing to release his Voicemail to the world in 2008. Following an earlier collaboration with Rick Ross (Tic Toc), JC has his second message ready on speed dial. With a female handpicked at the club, JC reminds her that it’s OK if she’s taken; Nobody Gotta Know. Revealing a completely contradictory stance on women (see You Don’t Know Me and Portrait of Love), Block Ent. label mate Gorilla Zoe jumps on board and charms with his unique grown-man temperament. Top it off with production from long-time collaborator Shannon ‘SL’ Lee and the message is clear! Prior to hearing his Voicemail, JC will release material independently through his newly created company, BluTooth.
This track is very good! I like JC's voice on here and it just sounds good all together. The production is good as well. This is good listening music right here and I could hear this bumpin from the wips when the weather is nice...
Excellent track. Even though JC is following the overused trend of the R&B snap beat, the melody of the production perfectly compliments his vocals. JC isn't the best vocalaist, but he is sure better than many of the new singers out there today. The record would have been better without the short-lived verse of Gorilla Zoe, he was probably just thrown in there for promotional purposes. Once this hits the airwaves, don't be surprised if it gets the same response as "Shawty is a 10" and "Bed."
my car lookin like it just hopped out the shower, i got this song bumpin with the volume at 41, and im flippin through the lower valley with a syrup and sunny d. ya feel me? Of course my windows are rolled down so everybody can hear dat JC and GORILLA ZOE banger. I give this song a 4 starzz salute
This tracc is great. JC has a great voice and his lyrics are very well put together. His sound is excellent and different from all these otha r&b dudes. I don't like to many r&b cats but JC did his thang on this and i can't wait to see whats next. Zoe was alright. U gotta lotta haterz bruh, but keep doin ya thang kid. Much respect 2 ya.
